Liked: Best location in dahab. Helpful and generous staff who do their best to make you feel welcome.

Disliked: Not very waterproof! Luckily it doesn't rain much at all!

Liked: To be honest the only thing I liked was the view at the balcony because you got a great panorama of the redsea.

Disliked: I would like to put forward many bad things about this property. First the athmosphere actually the manager gave us a bad reception. He tried to cheat us by offering us a room in the wrong hostel just close to the Jasmine pension. Tito, the guy who is in charge of the expedtions, is also a liar because he would like to rip us again by taking all of us to the blue hole for 200 pounds! Even if we are seven it's so much so that we cannot accept. Im really used to travel (Egypt, USA, China, Europ, Israel, Jordan, Turkey...) and it was the first time that I was so disappointed. I love Hostelbookers and this is the reason why I firmly recommend to everybody to avoid this loosy place !

Liked: Would recommend Jasmine every time. The rooms are clean and well equipped, fresh water (not desalinated or salt) to shower which is great after diving and swinmming. The guys there are friendly and always around to offer help and can arrange most things for you if you want them to. Good restaurant which is clean and cheaper still than most places towards the light house. Good distance for snorkling either the light house or lagoon and a great dive centre next door (Dive House). Tito and Momo can organise and advise upon trips and the guys around the restaurant are great too!

Liked: The location was great. Their meals were also very good and the price was fair. You don't have to go to the blue hole to snorkel, you can just do it yourself from the hostel, it was worth it for 10JD. They also arranged for us our trip to St Katherine (100 JD - transport and entry fee) and the bus to Cairo - they did try several times to change our choice of bus to mini van but the bus was very comfortable.

Liked: The location is fantastic and the view ver the ocean amazing. Breakfast is great. A big thank you to Rahmi, as his hospitality made a huge difference. The dive centre next door is also good value.

Liked: The people at Jasmine Pension were great. They were completely welcoming and friendly, and made us feel at home from the very beginning. We had a great time in the hotel, and I can't recommend it enough.

Liked: The hostel is located directly at the beachfront, with excellent view over Gulf of Aquaba to Saudi Arabia. (Great place to see the sunrise!) The attached restaurant serves delicious, reasonable food. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful to make your stay perfect. The well organized tours which they offer are a good value. If you still need anything - just ask Eminem, the manager. I stayed 3 weeks and can definately recommend this place!

Liked: Very charming place, perfect location with nice sea view, good food in the restaurant and extremely friendly and helpful staff. No top notch facilities but considering the low prices, excellent value for your money.

Liked: great restaurant attached, wonderful place to sit and watch the water and eat, breakfast that comes with your stay is fantastic. they are very accomodating, i arrived a day early and though they were booked they got me a room at the next door hotel which was normally more expensive at the same price as the room i had reserved at their hotel. their tours and excursions were competitively priced and very good value for the cost.
