Clean bathrooms and rooms, good facilities (dive centre, restaurant). There was no warm water in the bathrooms and all water is salt water. Salt water is common in Dahab.

The proximilty to the water was the best part, but beware of the nasty showers and the ants everywhere.

This hotel has brillinat friendly staff who would do anything for you. The dive shop has great prices and very excellent dive instructors. I would definetely reccomend this hotel to anyone and i will be back there again for sure

The best part of my experience at the Penguin Village was definitely the staff. Unfortunately, I was traveling with a VERY demanding person. They responded to all of the requests, no matter how irritating they must have been, with courtesy and professionalism. They were also people you could count on. When they said someone would pick you up at the airport, someone was there. When they booked a tour of St. Catherine's, you knew that it would happen. They were reliable, consistent, and good-natured.
I was in a room with a patio overlooking the Red Sea. It cost a bit more than the other rooms - twice as much as a simple room twin beds with private/ensuite bathroom - and I think you might be able to find another room like it in Dahab with more amenities for the same price. That being said, I have to say I loved that room. It was steps away from the pedestrian's pathway along the water. After a day of activity, I would bring a drink up to my room, gaze out at the sea and sometimes catch a peak at Saudi Arabia. Life was good.

Excellent location, great resteraunt and breakfast but don't be afraid to take a walk as prices and similar styles are all over the place.
While were there they are building more sea view rooms and make sure to ask for one as its supurb

Very helpful and friendly staff. Met some awesome people who were also staying at Penguin Village. Hotel very good at sorting things out and briiliant position of hotel/restraunt on the sea front. Brilliant place to stay.

The restaurant was particuraly great, the food, staff and owner amazingly freindly people. Do not pester you into going into their restaurant. Very relaxing atmosphere. We didn't go anywhere else to eat. 10 points

The staff was very friendly and helpful without being pushy or overbearing, the room was clean and comfortable, the location was ideal, the food at the restaurant adjoining the hotel was delicious, there was a whole range of activities available for booking at a reasonable price through the hotel, and if I could I would live there. It was easily the best place to stay in Dahab, and very well-priced.

The staff remember your name and you have about 4 people every day asking how you are, especially Adel the manager whos on his phone a lot but will always accomodate your request, there are lots of different tours to try and good discounts are on offer, in low season some of the discounts are awesome. I liked the free pickup too as it was a little intimidating getting off the bus to be met by loads of hotel touts. The restaurant is lovely and a great place to relax.

Adel rules!!!!!!!!! He is so nice and try to organize stuff for me....making useful suggestion say like what to do and where to go....and I did the scuba diving and tour to St Catherine, which are both great and value for money. Definitely recommand this place if you are gonna stay in Dahab. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. Come!!!

The location is great,from the large clean rooms to the sea in one minute.Friendly staff and management,if they dont have whot you want they know a man that can.I like the wat they will create a trip covering everything you wanna see inc taxis,trains,hotels and guides at the best prices in town.
The only problem with this place is that you never want to leave,I stayed 3 weeks!

location - direct seaview from the balcony! Quite despite being in the middle of all the retaurants, shops, etc.
Friendliness of staff. They organized all out trips very well and cheaply.

The kitchen deserves twenty-two thumbs up. Clean rooms, extremely energetic staff and tasty smoothies. Only warning is that a couple of the staff are smooth operators(habibis), they will hit on all the girls in your group, so don't bring any prospective talent you're eyeing! Emad runs the show and is a stand up guy, has an adorable young daughter who will steal your heart. Enjoy spraying the cats with water as they plea for your fish.

The best place to stay in Dahab. Great atmosphere with superb staff (Adel, Haleem, Osama & the boys will sort out anything you need). Excellent place to chill in between dives with their very professional dive centre. Big up Mohammed (the master of dive masters). Book now!
