location - direct seaview from the balcony! Quite despite being in the middle of all the retaurants, shops, etc.
Friendliness of staff. They organized all out trips very well and cheaply.

The kitchen deserves twenty-two thumbs up. Clean rooms, extremely energetic staff and tasty smoothies. Only warning is that a couple of the staff are smooth operators(habibis), they will hit on all the girls in your group, so don't bring any prospective talent you're eyeing! Emad runs the show and is a stand up guy, has an adorable young daughter who will steal your heart. Enjoy spraying the cats with water as they plea for your fish.

The best place to stay in Dahab. Great atmosphere with superb staff (Adel, Haleem, Osama & the boys will sort out anything you need). Excellent place to chill in between dives with their very professional dive centre. Big up Mohammed (the master of dive masters). Book now!

The friendliness of the staff was especially good, and their efficiency in organizing trips. I can particularly recommend the Hotel Manage, Emed, whose English was perfect, as well as being charming and good humoured. On several of our trips we had a guide arranged through the hotel, whose name was Mohammed. Accept no substitutes; he was excellent too.

Mohammed and his team were great, and made you feel most welcome and at home. The trips they organised were good, and it was a good place to meet people. I had a fab time, but not long enough but hope to come back again soon, as Dahab is a nice relaxing place to be...................

The staffs are very friendly. And great location! Only thing uncomfortable for me is the bed though. Except that, everything is ok.

This is definitely the best place we have stayed at all over Egypt. The staff headed by Emad and Anna is incredibly friendly, laid-back, knowledgeable and helpful that you won't have any choice but to enjoy your stay and relax with every fiber of your body at their waterfront camp-style restaurant (the best milkshakes in town) or snorkling at the reef right in front of the hotel. Just for the record in case you had any doubt, the rooms are spotless and a great value. Thank you, Emad and Anna and all the others!

Penguin Village was a great place to stay. Emad and the rest of the staff were very friendly and eager to accomodate us and make our stay enjoyable. The stay was quite nice and they were able to book all of our extras for very fair/inexpensive prices. Through them I rented snorkel equipment, took a trip to the Blue Hole, and took a trip to Mt. Sinai where they also arranged a connecting minibus for us back to Taba for a very fair price. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Penguin took care of everythng. At times we thought about eating elsewhere, but we always ended up eating at the Penguin. The restaurant is good and while other places seemed empty (it was mid-week, low season), Penguin had the most action going on (though it wasn't overcrowded or too loud). A great place to stay.
