The staff here are amazing. Always happy to help with everything. They provide trips, air port pick ups and anything else you ask for.
They stored our bikes for a week while we travelled around egypt.

The best staff you can ever find in the whole egypt,no pushing for tours,so helpful with so accurate informations.The place in general is so nice,clean rooms ,hotwater...very good breakfast,free internet service,free drinks.we recommend them highly!

The location of the hostel is great, in the middle of downtown. The staff there is also perfect. The guys give you all the help you need and a very nice support. They have tours to the points of major interest and always answer your questions very friendly and paciently! And they have free tea!!. I would definitely stay there again if I went back to Cairo. Highly recommended!

The staff was really friendly and the room had a balcony that was really nice. The location was alright too. Not too touristy, and everyone at the hostel was very helpful.

The room was big but a little smelly. I stood at the first floor and it was a little noisy in the morning. In spite of breakfast being included, I soke up too late to have it. The staff, however was very helpfull and they didn´t push their tours.

I have chosen african house because the very good recommendations from Ex-guests who were here before.When i arrived the hostel,i found all members of the hostel(receptionists,room service)wanted to do anything just to make us happy.They were really helpful(informations,tours)and also the room service changing our bedlinen everyday.High recommended place and people!

We have chosen african hostel because we had some friends who were there before and they reccommended the place for us.Our flight has been delayed for 3 hours and we were afraid not to be picked up because it was3 am and we were afraid that hostel's member leave the airport,but we didnt believe that they have stayed for us more than 4 hours in the airport without any extra money for that and with BIG smile.That was the first impression! when we arrived the hostel we were so happy with our room(so clean and big with wooden floor)and they have invited us for tee and gave us our things(towels,toilet paper,soaps..etc)for free and we have been told that the manager will meet us in the morning by breakfast.We have slept in our so quite room and in the morning very welcome breakfast and the manager(mr.zizo)told us a lot of informations about the area around us(coffe shops,restaurants...etc)and gave us a map for free and his personal guide(lonelyplanet)to use it around.We have booked a tour with him for the whole egypt with a very cheap price.we reccommend this place highly

Staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. Our flight into Cairo was several hours late, but they still waited for us until 4am to bring us to the hostel.

The staff in african was the best thing you may ever see!They are not only people who do their work,but they are more than friends.You can talk to them and discover the real egyptian mentality.Very nice place.

The staff really takes care of you. As an example, we lost our guide book in a taxi the first day of our holidays in Egypt. The staff of the hotel were so kind as to lend us a guide book of Egypt for our holidays. Nice place to stay in Cairo.
