clean, air conditioning, EXTREMELY NICE/FRIENDLY/helful staff, very safe for you and your backpack. I wish I knew that they also arranged short/long tours because their deals are much better than contiki.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us advice about things to do but not being pushy at all. There was a very relaxed atmosphere. Good central location.

The guys are really really helpful. In Egypt you will meet a lot of people who try to rip you off, but these guys are extremely helpful, really friendly and do a fantastic job. They speak fluent english and even helped negotiate with dodgy Cairo taxi drivers
The location is excellent, it is about a 20 metre walk from the central station Sadat. Its clean, safe and very cheap
I´d recommend it to anyone

Staff are terrific as is the location. Bit noisy and WC are interesting but value wise it is very acceptable.

If you are traveling to Egypt, dont have the same standards for the accomodations as going to Munich or Paris. For the resources that this facility has, they do an excellent job. It is located right next to the metro and a 5 minute walk to the egyptian museum and a 10 minute walk to the Nile. I would stay there again.

Great Place! In the hussel and bussell that is Cairo, this is a little sanctury. All the staff are very helpfull espeicially Haitham, who, if you need something done, need to see are sight or arrange a tour he is the man to see. He is also very helpful in giving you the ins and outs of Cairo. If you do go on a local trip or even to Alexandria with a driver then Basem is highly recomended. If your coming to Cairo, I strongly suggest The Canadian Hostel for a cheap, friendly and comfortable stay with excellent tours. Its not just for Canadians!

The everyone who worked at the hostel, was greatly helpful and friendly. They made you feel at home, and helpped you find your way around. Georgy also arranged and came with me to the dinner curise and made it a crazy time dancing. I didn't want to say good bye to all the people, especially Georgy.

The staff is what makes this hostel shine above most others, especially Haitham. It's not necessarily easy to travel around Egypt and know what to do, but these guys help you incredibly. The can make custom travel plans for you as well, which for us, was probably one of the best experiences of my life. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

I love staying at the canadian hostel , it was as my second home for me ,all the staff was great but george porgie has been great , he helped me alots for m plans to travell aroud egypt , so trustable , so funny too and good looking, i wouldnot bit the location of the hostel , its on the middel of cairo , less than 5 minute walk. i really recomended. thanks george for everything.

The guys who run this hostel were awesome. They gave excellent advice that can be trusted 100%. I will be recommending this hostel to anyone traveling to Cairo
