Customer reviewNice bathroom, but taxi driver couldn't find it for ages and like most places in Egypt, there's smoking throughout. I would have liked to meet more tourists like me, but was only there briefly. |

stephen wilkesWe had a good time in Cairo which was aided by Ash and his hostel staff. We took the taxi the hostel supply from the airport. We ate at the hostel, and found the food to be good local Egyptian fare. At the start of our stay Ash the manager helped get me a 50% discount on prices for tours I wanted to do, and these were organised as promised. The hostel rooms are clean and sheets are clean etc, they also tidy up your room . The hostel is located just around the corner from the Egyptian museum, which is handy if you want to visit. Taxis are easy to get to and from the hostel which is on a busy main road. OveralI thought the hostel was good value for money. There are also some shops at the back of the building the hostel is in, for cheap groceries and I had a Egyptian shave & ear haircut at the friendly barbers there also. We also went around the district nearby & found a friendly local resturant. |

HSINYI LINThe location of the hotel is great! It's near the Egypt Mesuem. My friends and I got different bookings of the hotel. Staffs of the hotel could not find out what our bookings are. So we spent a lot time to explain. And the hot tube was too hot and soon became too cold. |

Customer reviewVery nice place, friendly stuff, safe, clean. Nice terrace with a scenic view. You can see from your window the Egyptian Museum - it is very close. Also Metro station is close = very easy to visit old centre of Cairo, the coptic churches and islamic holy sites. |

Customer reviewThe staff were incredibly friendly, the location was just accross the road from the museum and near to a shopping / food centre. We left Cairo on an overnight bus leaving at midnight, so even though the official checkout time was midday, Ash gave us our room until midnight so we could chill and prepare for a night of no sleep! We'd definitely reccommend this room to others. |

Customer reviewThe recptionist, Ash, was really helpful and spoke very good english. With any of our questions about places to go and good local food outlets, he took the time to draw us maps and make sure we were having a good stay. The other staff were also really polite, our laundry was cleaned the best it has been in Egypt, the breakfast staff were friendly and the cable had 378 channels...more than I've had since I left home 10 months ago!! |

Customer reviewI've travelled to Cairo several times in the last year and I've always stayed at the Arabesque Hotel, both for vacation and for business. The staff is friendly and I've befriended many of them. The Arabesque has become my Egyptian home away from home. |

Theresa BeyerFor the first-time visitor this place is the answer to all your needs: the owner, Ash, has a wealth of knowledge about Cairo and Egypt. I was so scared before coming here (I never visited before any Arabian country), but at the moment I arrived at the hotel I knew that everything will be fine. |
