 The hostel is in a great location, in a lively area just a few minutes walk from the Egyptian Museum. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The staff here is really good - Mostafa was great at helping us plan our 3 wks stay in Egypt. You pay a little more for the service, than if you were to do it on your own, but we found it was definetely worth the extra money - reduced some of the hassle of travel in Egypt. I definetely recommend staying at this hostel - no complaints!

the airport pick up service was especially helpful when arriving in a new country.also the tour of phaeronic sites in cairo was excellent and very good value for money

very friendly staff. made it real easy. this hotel was far better than the "windsor" where i stayed subequently and the lialy was 1/6th the price. i recommend-

It is in the most convienent location in Cairo. We really enjoyed the staff here. We spent every night on the balcony until 4am because of location

This hostel is one of the best i have stayed at. Yes it's old but everything in Cario is! You won't find more helpful or friendly staff anywhere in the world... nothing was to much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure I was safe, had a good time and saw everything i wanted to see!!! Highyl recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

It's centrally located for downtown, close to Felfela restaurant and takeaway & handy for the Egyptian Museum. The breakfast, while not large, was filling and among the better I had at hostels in Egypt. The bathrooms are clean and there is hot water early in the morning and late at night. One staff member became rude when we decided to book our sleeper train tickets ourselves, but other than that the staff at Lialy were friendly and helpful.

Location was right in the center of things. Most of the staff is helpful and super nice. Compared to other places in Egypt it is very clean.

Location, yes it is about 5-10 minute walk to museum, nile river. Go to the Hilton hotel at night and smoke the sheesha, they have a nice sheesha bar, 10 pounds. Hot water does run out, bathrooms are pretty dirty. Need to renew. But you get walk you pay for, so don't expect much. Building is a dump. But all buildings are a dump in area/cairo. Cheap overall.

Friendly staff, good location. Tours were expensive though, much cheaper to arrange trains, transport, tours yourself. Tours are for convenience so if you don't mind paying more for the convenience then that's fine.
