 good taxi pick up service from airport

Great location to Emad el-Din, Train Station, Corniche el Nil. 5-10 pound taxi to Islamic Cairo, 15 to Citadel, 45 to Pyramids. No problems. Great air conditioning. Good place

The staff were very helpful and nice.

The room and overall condition of the place is new and clean. The staff are helpful and can give you advice about things. The food on the restaurant at the rooftop is very good and not too expensive. The people who serve you are nice too.
However, think carefully before you buy any long tour to other parts of Egypt with them. Things might not turn out just as you expected. Mine didn't.

The service was very well and most of the staff were friendly. The room was like the discribtion.
Every day our room became cleaned. And the roof of the hostel was very nice.

Owner Jeremy did not pester me to take up tours, after I explained I had already seen moste of Egypt, though have to say the breakfast is terrible and not value for money in many respects. After day 1 ate my own breakfast elsewhere.

The atmosphere made it a good place to relax after a hectic day in Cairo. The staff were also very friendly and helpful the entire time.

I am going to stay at his hotel for about 9 months! When I first came to egypt I thought about staying here for the first days and search for an appartement! But the people here at the hotel soon became friends and I feel secure in this hotel! I came to egypt all alone and was afraid about feeling alone but they helped me with everything and really respected and took care of me!
Because of this reasons I decided to stay at this hotel for my whole stay here!
The rooms are nice and you really can feel like home!

all the staff we fantasic especially jeramy who book our trip around egypt for us, at a very good price. we will be going back the the palace next september as they really made us feel at home and treated us like one of the family.

It is difficult to write a review about The New Palace Hotel because, for many Canadians, on first glance, it could be a little scary. The building that it is in seems very run down and when we stepped into the rickety elevator, we wondered what we were in for. That changed when the doors opened and we walked into a lovely hotel, with a staff waiting up for us. We got in at 3:00 am but everyone helped us and was cheerful and happy to see us. The hotel sent a driver to pick us from the airport and everything was ready for us when we arrived. As the days passed, we enjoyed the friendliness of this unique place with its open air terrace above, nice breakfast and laundry service. We shared bathrooms/showers which meant they weren’t the cleanest but the people there more than made up for that. Our driver while touring Cairo was absolutely outstanding. Mohomed got us around safely, helped us get student/teacher cards for discounts and even bought our children gifts. At the end of our stay, the staff invited us to break the fast during Ramadan with them and they all shared their food with us, and then Mohomed invited us upstairs for tea and a visit where he bought our kids cokes and showed us pictures of his family. We really enjoyed our time at New Palace!
