Customer reviewFriendly and helpful people. They also organised our tour through Egypt which included lots of visits and travel. The guides and the drivers within the tour were very helpful too. The service was great I will never forget every one there all of them was honest and the quality of the room was more than what I paid for.... My greatings and best wishes to Mr Haitham the Manager of the hostel. |

Bastian HochhausenThe Service was very very great! Everytime there was a helping hand when there where questions about the city, cultural knowledge or arangements for visitings. They also arange trips for you with privat drivers and fix day prices. Anytime when i ewanted to visit places by myself the help to translate phrases i have to use for taxi and thinks like that...helped me by writing down the places in arabic for using when the people dont understand my spelling.... They told me nice places to eat and walk and everything...very nice people that got a hihg knowledge about historical thinks and places in their city.... Will visit again next year and still very impressed!!! |

Customer reviewNot much, the guys working there were friendly, but creepy at the sametime, I think tey almost try too hard to impress. They need to provide you with better maps. The airport transfer was good in that it made it easy to find the hostel cause otherwise it would probably have been impossible, however the driver was not professional, and was not sure at the time if we were going to make it to the hostel alive. I would advise the hostel owners to hire professional drivers or taxi drivers and not their friends. |

Kim GleesonDont let the outside of the hostels building fool you inside is nice and clean even though the outside of the building looks ready to fall down. We nearly didnt go inside. We had a triple room. Our room was clean with hot water in the shower and a tv in the room. Towels were supplied and the staff were helpful. The location wasnt that great and was quiet a distance from the train station and the map we were supplied with by the hostel was a tiny map from google earth that was really hard to see. But overall the hostel was value for money and clean |

Jake zimmerliThis was a super cool place to stay, and at a pretty convenient location. We were picked up and taken to the airport for free and became on a first name basis with ahmed, mustafa, abdallah , saliman, and Haitham whom were always happy to see us each and everytime we arrived in the building. We did not have many solid plans arriving in egypt but Haitham arranged us a tour across egypt with train tickets, accomodation, and sights for a low price and gave what I believe was a fair price. This was overall a great experience and something I will never forget. Thanks again for a great time, and hope you enjoy ours as much as we did. |

Berry LeeREALLY SUPERB Air Conditioning, Free Wireless Internet, Nice Breakfast, GREAT Location, Very Kind and Helpful Staff. BOOK here and you will not regret it! My vacation wouldn't have been half as good if it weren't for the Egyptian hospitality and comfort of the Alexander. The tour and cruise options offered through the hotel were great as well, don't pass it up. You get more than your money's worth. |

Robert CraigeWe arrived in Cairo at 2am with lots of hope but not much plan and only 5 days. By 3.30 we had the whole trip organised by the magical Mr Haitham. His recommendations fitted perfectly with our expectations and the ease with which everything was achieved was masterful. For anyone considering a tour or just a helping hand I cannot recommend Mr Haitham and his guides highly enough. They are brilliant. Nothing in our trip was a hassle, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for all.. |
