Liked: The rooms are very comfortable and the air conditioning works great which is important as it was hot in Cairo , free internet in the rooms and common room .

Liked: Los propietarios son lo mejor de este sitio, son personas muy muy amables, siempre están tratando de hacerte sentir muy bien y seguro. Es ideal para estudiantes y viajeros en plan de mochileros, yo viajé sola y no estoy acostumbrada a eso, por lo que estuvieron muy, muy pendientes de mí. El Hostal está en el corazón del downtown lo que te permite ver Cairo desde otra óptica menos turística y más cotidiana. La habitación es limpia, segura y es muy tranquilo. Los planes que pueden organizar los propietarios también son muy interesantes con precios competitivos; es importante aclarar qué se incluye.En cuanto a los propietarios, si hablan español van a conocer a Amadeo, es LO MEJOR de LO MEJOR! Gracias por toda la ayuda y paciencia!!! Definitivamente volvería a este lugar!!!

Disliked: Cuando llegas el edificio tal vez no es lo que esperas, en cuanto entras sientes escalofrío porque en otros países es distinto, pero aquí todos los edificios son iguales; ahí sientes que no es lo que buscas, pero debes darte la oportunidad de avanzar y una vez en el segundo piso del hotel, te das cuenta que se esmeran mucho por mantener una muy buena calidad para un hostal. Aunque está en el centro llegar a Giza en taxi te puede costar 25EP (USD 5), y te puede tomar una media hora, porque en El Cairo es tráfico es realmente caótico.

Liked: It was good service and nice stay at this great place . the people there are doing good job I booked tour through the hostel owner Mr/Haitham, who was very helpful. He called our respective guides, and us, a number of times during the tour to ensure things were going as planned. and the price was reasonable.I highly recommend this place.

Liked: We booked a week tour through the hostel owner (Haitham), who was very helpful. He called our respective guides, and us, a number of times during the tour to ensure things were going as planned. We compared our tour prices with a number of other reputable travel agencies in Cairo and found haitham's quotes to be honest and better in most cases.

Disliked: It lacked a bit of atmosphere but haitham was renovating the common room so that should help.

Disliked: The building is very old and broken down - The lift only works sometimes and the stairs are decrepit. There were renovations being done all night and they only stopped after we complained at 2:30AM! The bathrooms flood easily and the slats on the bed kept falling off so the mattress would fall through....

Liked: This was a great place to stay my short visit to Cairo. I booked it for one night to check if it is ok, since I arrived I found every thing is perfect I decided to stay my other two nights in same room , recommended .

Liked: Hostel Alexander is good one I liked it because of the cleanness and location ( Central ) you Can walk around and have some Koshri ( the most Egyptian delicious food ) the staff were useful in giving any needed directions and telling the best things you can do and costs for every thing.... Liked: Central location at shopping district (till late night), dining outlets, short walking distance from Nile Corniche, Egyptian Museum, Ramses Train Station & Metro. Spacious room with free internet facility. Common room for guests . I really enjoyed my Stay there.
