Liked: Great location close to Cairo Museum. Able to coordinate maximum activities for our short stay. Booked it 2 days before our arrival and a driver with our name met us at the airport free. In addition they booked our bus tickets for the trip to the desert and let us rest and shower on our return back to Cairo after 2 days in the desert before our international departure.

Liked: Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is cleaner than others among the range of the money you paid. Tea or coffee whenever you like, just ask and they will make it for you. Wifi most time works fine. Before I left, I need stamps to send postcards, but at that time the post office is closed, the hotel says they will send it for me and I paid them stamps.

Liked: Good value for money. Right in the middle of town - lively and fun being next to the main street. Great cheap food around - check out Gad or Tom and Basal. Breakfast was average except for the day Egyptian breakfast was served which was delicious. Some reviews have mentioned lots of tours offered - we didn't find the staff pushy and they were fine with us just doing our own thing.

Liked: I had a really great time at the hostel. it was clean and good value. the staff helped me organise tours and things to see which was helpful, and also recommended places to eat. i would stay here again

Liked: The staff are very very helpful. After having our wallet stolen on the way to Cairo, Ehad spent day after day taking us from police station, to the Court, to the police station, even following this up once we had left Cairo. He was so incredibly helpful, and really made navigating complex systems in Cairo much easier. Thank god for Ehad!

Disliked: There is little room to make your own, in that it lacks a common area with atmosphere. The staff watch a lot of TV in this area, and whilst you're welcome to sit down, it can feel a little strange. The rooms facing the road, have a lot of traffic noise, however that is everywhere in Cairo and completely unavoidable.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful people over there!!! They will do their best to inform you and try to make your holidays best as they can. It's clean, very safe, the location is great and close from the metro Nasser... What else... The best place to stay in Cairo!!!!

Liked: Hostel Brother's is a great hostel, very clean, centrally located and close to the important sites you'll see in Cairo downtown. The beds are comfortable and did I mention it was clean? Fast Wifi and free coffee and tea whenever you want it. Staff was friendly, the Free Breakfast is more substantial than most hostels and the free pickup at the airport with only 2 night minimum stay saves you $8-$10 US as well. The only thing I would recommend if going to Aswan or Luxor is to price shop. We were able to find better prices locally in those towns vs booking a head.

Liked: I stayed in hostel brothers for 3 days and as soon as i arrived i felt the nice vibe of the people working there they even picked me up from the airport, Emam help me design my next week of travelling around Egypt Israel and Jordan and everything was perfectly arrange the hostel is located in central Cairo which makes it really convenient and everyone was really helpful with everything i needed and charismatic. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Liked: The Brothers Hostel is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and went that extra mile to help me out when I had difficulties with my laptop. I was given advice on where to go not only in Cairo but on the rest of my travels around Egypt. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I even had the pleasure of spending a morning/afternoon with Ahmed, who showed me around Cairo to give me an insight into the city. I look forward to staying again

Liked: It really felt like a home away from home for me. The staff there were always fun to hang out with. They organised a cheap group tour around Luxor and Aswan for me so I felt very safe ::)) Im happy I took Mohamed reccomendations, as I wouldnt of been able to get around egypt easily with out them. I definately reccomend this hostel for solo girl travelers. Thanx heaps ::))

Liked: The Brothers Hostel took great care of me while I was here. They were all very kind from when they picked me up at the airport to the day I left. The cleaning ladies are very friendly and sweet. It's got a great location, and I always felt safe as a young female solo traveler. The guys who run the hostel are very playful and fun and like to socialize. They're very happy to organize trips for you to the pyramids, etc.

Liked: There is no where else in Cairo that I would stay. Amazing location, free wi-fi, airport pick up and the most generous and helpful staff you could ask for. The staff treated us like family, nothing was too much to ask and they created a really fun atmosphere too. Everything you could possibly wish to see in Egypt can be arranged through this Hostel and you know your booking a quality tour. We loved our driver he took such good care of us and we will miss him and all the team at brothers. Thanks!

Liked: Brothers Hostel is Awesome!!!! The staff are friendly and very helpful. They organise trips around Egypt and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and have lots of fun during your stay. We stayed longer than originally planned as we were having such a great time. Mohammad, Sherif, Ahmed, Karim, Amira and the rest of the staff were awesome!!!! We would definately recommend this hostel if you are ever going to Cairo!!!

Liked: I thought this was a great hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I am a single woman traveling alone and felt safe and comfortable here. It was really clean and they even upgraded me to a single (at the price of a dorm) because they didn't need the room. Definitely stay here if you are in Cairo!

Liked: Egypt is safer than you think and right now is actually a great time to go as most of the locations aren't crowded at ALL. You should DEFINITELY take advantage of this time and go sooner rather than later. Cairo is definitely safe but dont stay out too late. The people at brothers hostel were SO helpful in arranging ALL the details and planning for my trip there. They even helped me plan and book guides and hotels in other cities and locations. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

Liked: I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Brothers Hostel. The Staff are very relaxed and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure you are enjoying your stay. The staff were so enthusiastic they took me through the streets and showed me which streets to buy clothes, linen, and exchange money. This is definetly a hostel to check out on your visit to Egypt, I had alot of fun here. The city itself is very safe, and life has returned to normal. In downtown shops are open all night and the vibe is great

Liked: Good location, fast wifi.

Disliked: Loud with thin walls. Staff likes to horse around and make a lot of noise. Not much of a common room, there's only a couch in the lobby. They were keen on me taking their trips and using their driver for everything, at an inflated rate.

Liked: The staff were extremely helful. On we were picked up at the airport, by the complimentary pick-up, and taken to the hostel. On arrival we were greeted very warmly and the staff helped us plan our trip. We only had 3 days to visit exhibits due to our flights but the staff managed to design an itinerary that allowed us to visit the pyramids at Giza, valley of kings and surrounding attractions at Luxor (which was an excellent trip) and the Egyptian museum without any of it seeming rushed. I can't thank them enough for a great trip.
