Liked: We had arrived a little early in Cairo, but this wasn't a problem for the Hostel Brothers. We called them from the airport, and they immediately sent a driver to pick us up for free (we stayed for four days, so this was a free offer)!They gave us a room right by the reception--which can get a little noisy at times--but they moved us to a quieter area of the hostel. We knew we were saying at a hostel, so this wasn't an issue. If we wanted something to complain about, we would go to the Hilton and expect perfection (or something near to it!). For a hostel, this is definitely a sound choice. The location is ideal; the staff is affable, and willing to bend over backward for you; and the atmosphere is comfy, and my wife and I felt safe. In fact, my wife, who has stayed in plenty of hostels to base a comparison, said this is one of the best hostels she has ever stayed in.For Hostel Brothers? Two thumbs, and big toes up!!

Liked: an excellent hostel in the middle of everything and in a safe part of town, The rooms were clean, large and very spacious with high ceilings, We each booked a 2 week tour through the hostel that proved to be worth every penny. We all had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Cairo. Thank you again

Liked: This has been the most enjoyable hostel experience ever had thus far. All ammenities were amazing. Felt at home. Brothers were outstanding. Airport pickup was essential. Custom booked a tour though Egypt. Amazing.

Liked: Awesome location - just a short walk to everything in the city center, Absolutely, positively the nicest and most helpful staff I\'ve ever had at any accommodation. I had one of the best experiences of my life during my weekend stay in Cairo, Thank you so much for faciliting our time in Egypt - we will never forget the fun we had!!

Liked: I liked the location. It is very noisy because some rooms are separated from others just by a door, so you can hear other people talking, snoring, their alarm clocks, their mobile phones, etc. I would not stay there again, actually I had to go back to Cairo and I stayed somewhere else (in Invitation Hotel, which was not too bad).The room was not dirty, but the rest of the building is filthy.

Liked: If you are travelling as single traveler..this place would suit you really well.From the day i landed in Cairo they treated me like own family .Mustafa is wonderful, he suggested me the best trip with private guide in and around Cairo.The guide Khaled was amazing and very knowledgeable . I felt very safe all the time and had my best time in Cairo.Thanks to hostel brothers , the wonderful people here strive to make your stay a memorable one with smile on their faces

Liked: Fantastic hostel! They have different events on every night which are alot of fun and a great way to meet people. We met lets of really nice people during our stay and ended up staying an extra 2 nights because we loved it so much. Good kitchen, The breakfast is excellent, free wifi and lots of fun. Everything we love in a hostel

Liked: Hostel Brothers is truly a wonderful hostel. Mohammed, and the whole staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and honest. They always gave us excellent advice on places and tours (without pushing anything on us we weren’t comfortable with; a treasured rarity in Cairo!). The hostel itself is very clean and the location can't be beat! I would recommend this hostel without hesitation or reservation. In a city that can sometimes be overwhelming, Hostel Brothers felt like home!

Liked: Disfrutamos mucho del lugar la gente del hostel nos ayudo muchisimo para movernos en Egipto lo cual no es nada facil, El edificio parece un poco viejo pero las habitaciones estan bien y son muy limpias, por el precio es una muy buena eleccion, es seguro y esta cerca de todo en pleno centro del Cairo.

Liked: Hostel Brothers is by far the best out of the over 10 highly rated hostels I have stayed at over the past few years. The Hostel is the best because the hostel is safe, the atmosphere is friendly, and the morning Egyptian tea is excellent. Mohammad (owner) and his staff are also very kind and helpful. They try there hardest to make your stay in Egypt exceed your expectations. DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE.

Liked: The hotel was OK in overall. However, the double room we stayed in was plenty of cockroaches and it got very noisy at night since it is close to the reception (telephones ringing, people chatting, etc.). Some friends of us stayed in other rooms that were clean and calm. I would recommend the hotel as long as you do not stay in the room I did. The location is great and the staff is friendly.

Liked: they picked us up from the airport and booked all of our tours for our stay. we were able to do a nile boat cruise, the pyramids and a day trip to luxor, all through the hostel. they took us to the bank to exchange our money and took care of all aspects of our visit. extremely helpful and friendly. definitely stay here.

Liked: I really liked the staff, very helpful but not at all pushy. The location is quite good as well, although the street is busy. The rooms and toilets are clean but even though we were there for 8 nights they didn't offer to clean it or change the sheets or towels. Apart from that minor complaint the only other thing is the lack of common space in the hostel, the main eating and loungin area is in a narrow corridor, a shame really because if they had a separate room or even a wider space it'd make it much easier to meet people. Overall we'd a very positive experience and would stay there again.

Liked: The first room they gave us had a few cockroaches and no windows, but the second was nice with a balcony. The reception is on the 4th floor and some of the rooms are on the 2nd, but the outer door to those rooms is generally open, as is the door to the street. Quiet considering the location. Free ride from airport, very informative driver. The boys and girl that run the place are nice and always around. If you do a pyramid tour through them opt out of the camel ride - arrange it inside if you want it. The people they bring you to ask for outrageous prices.

Liked: The site seeing tours they booked for us were the standard take you to the papyrus factory and perfume shop etc aswell as the pyramids even though they don't tell you that when they describe the tours. A little disappointed in all of the tours we organised through the hostel. If they told you what was involved then it would be ok but they didn't give you all of the information. The hostel itself was clean and safe.
