Liked: The hostel and staff are very nice especially Mohamed who is very warm and makes the place so welcoming and will always give you the best advice in what can be a tricky city. there is a very nice communal area with TV, free wifi (and PC with internet LE5/hour) and a small balcony you can sit on. rooms are clean with air con . oh & + free breakfast

Liked: Brothers Hostel was wonderful. Clean with sheets and blankets provided, breakfast too! This hostel was the perfect place to stay, whether you have plans or not. If you have your trip mapped out - great! It's in a good location. Have no idea what you're doing? Great! The wonderfully friendly staff helped us plan an amazing trip!! Without them I think we wouldn't been completely lost, but because of them we had a great time at the pyramids, in Luxor and it was so easy to get around! Thanks Brothers !

Liked: Place is nice, staff very helpful, clean, convenient location, cheap, attracts a good crowd, everyone is friendly, lifts to/from airport/train station provided for free

Disliked: Building is shabby, location is very noisy and hostel is difficult to see from outside, they say they have breakfast but its just eggs and bread. No serious complaints though.

Liked: What a superb place to stay in Cairo! Not only were the staff extremely helpful and friendly, they made sure I was completely satisfied and helped me organize my trip through the rest of Egypt. They were definitely the highlight, so much so that I chose to come back at the end of my 2 weeks traveling around the country. The location is also great, just a stones throw away from Tahrir Square and the Nile. The rooms are good and clean. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cairo. Thanks guys!

Liked: Great hostel. People really went out of their way to help us so much so that we ended up staying longer. They organized our whole trip for us from the train to accommodation and were their to pick us up when we arrived back in Cairo. This place is peace of mind and they really put travellers first and the itinerary very cheap. Egypt is beautiful, awesome scenery and safe despite the news reports and we cant speak more highly of the guys at the hostel.and the high old school balconies are pretty sweet also.

Disliked: Nothing. Everything problem or concern we had was answered.

Liked: Its downtown amongst the hussle and bussle of cairo and only a few mins walk to the museum. Even tho my plane was super late mohammed was still waiting there and took me straight to the hostel no worries. The brothers hooked me up with a super sweet tour package to Aswan, Abu Simble and luxor. Each place there was someobe to pick me up and drop me of. Each hotel in the tour was great and all sight seeing organised on time. Watch out for hidden cost tho, its Egypt after all.

Liked: The best thing about this hostel is the friendly staff. They are the best I have met so far. They give you lot of advice about your trip in Cairo and the rest of Egypt which is like having your own travel guide. They do look after each and everyone of the guests. For the price it asks for it is worth every cent/penny you pay for. Even the family who runs the business makes you feel at home and wanna give you the best Egyptian experience possible in the time you have. Especially, Karim who works here but found out that he is part of the family which runs the business is a great guy to go out in the evenings as he will show you what the locals are upto. I strongly recommend this hostel.

Disliked: Enough signage to find the location but then they had the free airport pick-up.

Liked: the hostel is located downtown, very close to the cairo museum and walking distance to the islamic neighborhood. It is clean. it has free wifi and towels, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. the room was air/conditioned

Liked: Hostel Brothers is by far the best out of the over 10 highly rated hostels I have stayed at over the past few years. The Hostel is the best because the hostel is safe, the atmosphere is friendly, and the morning Egyptian tea is excellent. Mohammad (owner) and his staff are also very kind and helpful. They try there hardest to make your stay in Egypt exceed your expectations. DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!-

Liked: Amazing, friendly staff, especially Mohamed, the owner. Great price and right in downtown Cairo. Convenient to The metro station etc. Mohamed arranged a great tour for me at a great price down to Luxor and Aswan and also recommended some amazing sights like Abu Simbel which I may have otherwise missed. He also took me to an Egyptian wedding, out for ten pin bowling and then pizza hut all courtesy of the hostel. I have down a lot of travel this year and this is by far the best place I have stayed. I challenge anyone to find a place in Cairo at a better price and friendlier staff...

Liked: Great place to stay! I stayed in a twin room and the mattress was the most confortable ever! :) Even if the street is very noisy, inside the hostel is very quiet. The staff was also VERY VERY kind and helpful. Thank you Emam and Mohammed for everything!!! I'd recommend this hostel and if I go back to Cairo, I'll definetely staying back here!

Liked: I loved this hostel. Everybody is so nice and they will all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and confortable. it is very centrally located and the area is full of shops and places to eat. Mohamed planned my whole itinirary and i loved it. The beds are super confortable and the rooms are very good size. I definetely recommend this hostel to everyone. I hope to come back here again sooner than later. Gtacias a todos por hacer esta experiencia inolvidable.

Liked: Wonderful hostel in Cairo, Great Great Great deal for the money. Very clean with a friendly and helpful staff that speaks great English. Are willing to arrange anything for you. Would def recommend for any type of traveler. When I come back to Cairo I will def stay there again!

Liked: The staff was very friendly and extremely helpfull in every way! They helped us plan our trip around egypt. we were not sure where exactly to visit but they very very helpful in putting an iteniary together.The room was pleasntly clean as was the bathroom. Coffee and breakfast available no matter what time we woke up in the morning.
