Customer reviewThis place is clean, showers are hot (and actually have some pressure!), location is good - right near egyptian museum, there's a koshary place and an egyptian pizza place just around the corner. the staff are lovely and genuine - there are tours on offer but they aren't pushed. there's a small common room and kitchen which guests are able to use, there are two computers with internet (although it isn't free). i've stayed here three times in my comings and goings around egypt and would recommend the place. |

Lee MurphyThe staff are fantastic, really helpful. Great location and plenty of good food on offer thanks to the knowledge of the staff members. Bottom line 100%, though if you are getting a airport pickup be sure to book 2 days in advance so you can reply to their email as there are 4 terminals in Cairo. |

Daniel NewmanThis place is everything you could ask for in an Egyptian hostel: Funny and friendly staff, and a great location near all the main sites. Highly recommended. P.S. Peter: We saw the monkey with the golden tooth headed north! |

Juan VenegasThe location is amazing. Near to the egyptian museum, train station, the Nile river!! The staff is very friendly. All the time tries to help you in everything and they offers you some tours at the tipical average prices in Cairo. Location and staff are the best part. Maybe the rooms are a little bit small, but its ok. Location is a little bit noisy but ANYWAY, ALL THE CITY IS NOISY!!! Breakfast is ok, with tea, coffe, bread and boiled egg! (jam and cheesse also). No lockers in dorms. |

Aimee NichevichGreat location, very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel at home. Tourist services and drivers also good value. Only suggestion is that the hostel provide sheets for the bed as it is too hot to use the blanket. Also need proper curtains to block out the sun as the rooms get very hot. |

Customer reviewWe loved Wake Up! Small and cozy, the staff were more helpful than words can describe. Always ready to write out directions, phonetic translations, or just plain hang out with you. You also get a nice little breakfast in their common room. Room had A/C and thankfully was mosquito free - a very tough thing to find in Egypt. |

Customer reviewVery nice persons and eager to help you. Welcoming was really excellente and, even when they had no room left for our return, they found one for us. On the other side, it's in a typical Cairo tired building (dust, plumbing, ) ... and very close to the Mosquee : so be prepared at 4am to be waken up by the Mosquee call to prayers. To summarize, many thanks to them, they were really helpfull. |
