Liked: very clean hostel with perfect services which we didn't find somewhere else. we felt safe and in a very good location in downtown without noise which is everywhere else in downtown of cairo as the traffic is very hard and cars are makeing so high noise all the time but in this place we could sleep well and enjoy our stay.the internet what they have is like what we've at home very fast and active.we recommend wakeup hostel to all travellars

Liked: If you are lucky enough to be greeted by Peter whose friendly disposition and wealth of knowledge (he\'s an egyptologist by trade) is certainly invaluable to you upon arriving to Cairo. The living area is cozy, inviting and has a great view of the city. The bathroom is kept clean and the bedrooms are tidied each day. The breakfast is meagre however for the price, it was well worth it. I highly reccomend Wakup Cairo!

Liked: All the bed sheets have hair and dust. It made my skin turn red and itche. Wake up Cairo is hotel more than hostel. No baggage leave at the hotel because the hotel is too small to have a baggage store room. Internet is Epound10 per hour. I recomend to stay at Meramees hostel. I get all of this for free.

Liked: This was honestly the best hostel we have ever stayed at. The only negative was that we liked the place so much that we stayed in and didnt get out to see the town enough! The atmosphere is very friendly and just like home. They have a wonderful lounge with a flat screen TV, wireless internet, laundery services, cold water and beverages on hand, free breakfast, clean spacious rooms, and the most friendly and attentive staff that I have ever dealt with. The Wake Up Cairo Hostel definitely made our stay in Egypt a pleasant one.

Liked: We loved our stay at Wake up Cairo! We came with very few plans and Peter and the rest of the staff really helped us plan a wonderful vacation. The rooms were very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly... we would definitely stay again!!!

Liked: Wake Up Cairo is the only place to stay while in Egypt. Everything is taken care of from transportation to and from the airport as well as any travel plans and arrangements you need. They do it all for you right here so there\'s no stress! The staff is outstanding. STAY HERE! STAY HERE! You\'ll love it! Thank you guys! I had a terrific time!

Liked: This place is so awesome. It really is a life saver in crazy Cairo and you feel right at home here. All the staff here are so nice and helpful and honestly this place is the cleanest hostel we have stayed in after traveling for 6 months. The atmosphere is top notch and each room has a great vibe, you can tell a lot of love went into this place. I give it two thumbs up and would rate it 165% if I could. Thanks for a great time guys! You rock! We will definitely be back again.

Liked: Everything was perfect. The hostel is great and the staff is very very nice. They arrange us a tour to Aswan and Luxor and It was gorgeous. We are all spanish speakers and they gave us a spanish guide for all the tours, the accommodation they reserved for us were wonderful, and in every arrival there was always someone wainting for us, which was very important for us.

Liked: WAKE UP CAIRO WAS AWESOME!!!!!from the moment i arrived, throughout my stay and on the way out they provided me with some of the BEST customer service i have EVER received at a hostel, hotel or bed & breakfast anywhere in the world. Peter Karam (the owner) was an excellent host and guide that takes pride in his work and establishment. not only did he make me feel at home but he also advised me on many excursions, cultural activities and the culinary delights of Cairo, Aswan and everything inbetween. in addition Mr. Karam has made an excellent choice in the staff that he has representing Wake Up Cairo on a daily basis. they we're kind, courteous and informative. the hostel is very clean, centrally located, extremely safe and offers excellent views of the city and river Nile. the prices and accomadations far surpass the average hostel and on a scale of 1 to 10 i would rate this establishment an 11.5!!! if you ever find yourself in Cairo don't hesitate to book a room at WAKE UP CAIRO HOSTEL! it was worth every cent and more. i will miss my new freinds at Wake Up Cairo and i will be sure to visit once again in the near future. excellent customer service is very hard to come by these days but Wake Up Cairo is definitely the exception.......

Liked: Great little place to stay in Cairo. The staff are always there to help and direct you to where you need to go and offer recommendations.Ask them where you can get Koshary- great tasty cheap meal/snack.I would recommend not buying drinks,etc here, insted look out of the common room window and you can see a road with a coupe of little shops on it. There is a small corner shop that sells cheap drinks/crisps/chocolate,etc- much cheaper than the hostel price.If you are planning to get the student rate at the pyramids and Egyptian museum, don't rely on your ISIC card as the are n longer acepted- you need a photo student ID from your college/University.

Liked: I like the view out of the common room on the cairo tower and the nile, exspecially during sunset and evening times. Its located less than five minutes from the egyptian museum and Tarhir Square (Bus Station), everything you need is arround you. And the most important think for me: Everything is clean. Cleaner and better then some places in Germany!! It is like a a healthy home after walking through smoggy Cairo. The staff is so friendly and helpfull, you feel like a friend. It was my second time and I will come back.
