Liked: Very good place to stay in cairo which has a perfect location allowed us to explore the area without any extra cost. the staff were so friendly and helpfull. bathroom was always clean. i recommend the place to be 1st choice for travellers and young students like us;-)

Liked: these are some down ass people who run an awesome hostel where you feel instantly at home. you get what you need and nothing you dont want. the place is clean and its in a good location near the Egyptian museum. They arranged a few tours with me and everything was great. You can trust them with whatever you need, so its a good home base for an overwhelming city.

Liked: This is the one & only TRUE Oasis in all of Cairo. It contains warm beds (complete with bedding & pillows, no charge!), the security of your childhood home, & a continual flow of tea, coffee, water, drinks & smokes at your disposal, not to mention the fact that it is owned & run by the ONLY sane men in ALL of Cairo. These gentlemen will take you by the hand and guide you every step of the way through your adventures in Egypt. And You will be laughing the ENTIRE time of this I PROMISE :)

Liked: Although this 7th story 5 room hotel is abit small, it is the BEST service we have recieved in our 2 month trip through 9 countries! The staff are very helpful and absolutly lovely. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone =)

Liked: Wake Up Cairo is by far the best hostel in all of Cairo. Each room has its own theme, , the staff is unbelievable and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible, and the hostel is cleaned daily. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Egypt. My only complain is that there is only one Wake Up Cairo, they should open them all around the world!!! It is just a block form the museum and other shops. I love Wake Up Cairo!!

Liked: This is a fabulous hostel. The best I've stayed in egypt. staff are super friendly and ready to help with any question you may have. The hostel is a pleasant 3 minute walk from the city centre and museum. you'll find always hot water working in the shower which was a problem for other friends in cairo, clean and homely environment.

Liked: The location is supperb! 5 min walk from subway, and one minute walk to the famous museum. There's so many cafes and nice places for chiling out nearby. they didn't push us to buy anything like other hostel in downtown was doing to us. we recommend wake up for all here!

Liked: very clean hostel with perfect services which we didn't find somewhere else. we felt safe and in a very good location in downtown without noise which is everywhere else in downtown of cairo as the traffic is very hard and cars are makeing so high noise all the time but in this place we could sleep well and enjoy our stay.the internet what they have is like what we've at home very fast and active.we recommend wakeup hostel to all travellars

Liked: If you are lucky enough to be greeted by Peter whose friendly disposition and wealth of knowledge (he\'s an egyptologist by trade) is certainly invaluable to you upon arriving to Cairo. The living area is cozy, inviting and has a great view of the city. The bathroom is kept clean and the bedrooms are tidied each day. The breakfast is meagre however for the price, it was well worth it. I highly reccomend Wakup Cairo!

Liked: All the bed sheets have hair and dust. It made my skin turn red and itche. Wake up Cairo is hotel more than hostel. No baggage leave at the hotel because the hotel is too small to have a baggage store room. Internet is Epound10 per hour. I recomend to stay at Meramees hostel. I get all of this for free.

Liked: This was honestly the best hostel we have ever stayed at. The only negative was that we liked the place so much that we stayed in and didnt get out to see the town enough! The atmosphere is very friendly and just like home. They have a wonderful lounge with a flat screen TV, wireless internet, laundery services, cold water and beverages on hand, free breakfast, clean spacious rooms, and the most friendly and attentive staff that I have ever dealt with. The Wake Up Cairo Hostel definitely made our stay in Egypt a pleasant one.

Liked: We loved our stay at Wake up Cairo! We came with very few plans and Peter and the rest of the staff really helped us plan a wonderful vacation. The rooms were very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly... we would definitely stay again!!!

Liked: Wake Up Cairo is the only place to stay while in Egypt. Everything is taken care of from transportation to and from the airport as well as any travel plans and arrangements you need. They do it all for you right here so there\'s no stress! The staff is outstanding. STAY HERE! STAY HERE! You\'ll love it! Thank you guys! I had a terrific time!
