Me and my friend stayed at this hostel for two nights and we could not complain about anything. they were extremely welcoming and helpful to us with whatever we needed. they have personalized private tours and contacts to a variety of tourism for a good price for budget backpackers. there is a special employee who specializes in arranging tour packages according to your needs and wants around egypt. you cannot go wrong with this guy as he has many contacts and it is a bit of a challenge finding it on your own around here.

All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The room is ok, clean and convenient but the elevator is old and broke down once when I was there. It's situated on a lively street, good for those who come in group but a bit dangerous for those who come alone because there are some bad people on this street. Anyway, overall I think this is a good hostel where you can find help from the english-speaking staff. They are good and honest people. They don't push you to buy their tour which I think it's very good.

Ramses II hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the center of everything - the egytian museum, clubs, shopping. The staff is very friendly and funny. Abdou was very kind to us and very helpful. The hostel is clean and considering its a budget hostel every money worth

The atmosphere at the Ramses II was fabulous, the staff were especially accomodating and went out of their way to help us. They also were wonderful at bookings and managed our whole holiday(even outside of Cairo!). An employee named Haitham prepared everything and we always felt taken care of, and well organized. I'd recommend this hostel as an excellent place to stay as well as to use for tours! Thanks to them!

I like the staff very very much as I found them extremely helpful in giving, for instance, directions to places such as museums, good restaurants, cheap places to shop, etc. I especially found Mr.Mohamed very helful, patient, and very informative about his city Cairo. As well, one very important aspect which I found comforting is how clean the premises of the hotel are: clean rooms, bathrooms, linens, daily cleaning, ect. They also are very accomodating in allowing guests stay longer than they had planned.

RamsesII Hostel was truly a wonderful experience for several reasons. 1. The location was fabulous. It is right downtown, exactly where tourists want to be. 2.The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Anything you need can be arranged -all you have to do is ask. I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. The best word to describe it is \"fun.\" We made alot of friends in the few days we were here and felt very welcomed. I will recomment it to all travellerd coming to Egypt.

I am very pleased with the time I have spent at the Ramses II Hotel. The staff has been very kind, nice and friendly. They had helped me with everything I needed. The location of the hotel is also excellent, in the center of Cairo, and very close to the main places to visit. The rooms are very clean and all of them had air-condition. All my rooms had an excellent view of Cairo, as well as the cafeteria where a lovely breakfast had been provided. In short, I have no complains at all, and I strongly recomend it.

There is free wireless internet in every room and it's amazing. It never failed on me. The staff is great, very friendly and welcoming, willing to help with anything. I've stayed here twice now and I highly recommend it. It's in the heart of downtown Cairo so there is always something going on and always a few neat stores to stop into. I've been visiting Cairo for a number of years now and this is the best value I've found. I feel very safe here and having a private bathroom is wonderful. In a nutshell: great location, great staff, good sized rooms, and very clean!

I couldn\'t have asked for a better home away from home in Cairo than the Ramses II Hotel. Reasonable price. Clean rooms. Over-the-Top Egyptian hospitality cum Mr. Abdou. I suggest room 8 for your own, private wrap-around terrace. In the heart of bustling downtown. Centrally located to all major sights - 10 min. walk to the Egyptian Museum and Nile River; 5 min. cab to Khan al-Khalili. At the helm of their hospitality staff is Haitham, who doubles as the in-house travel agent. Despite the fact that Lonely Planet discourages hotel bookings, Haitham is legit. He planned my booking to Sinai, Petra, Aswan and Luxor without a hitch. If you\'re looking for basic, clean accommodations, central location, and friendly staff, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Ramses II Hostel

Well my first experience with Ramsey II hostel was most welcoming. I walked in one evening to see if they had any rooms available. and I left with a room for two nights and a friend with the owner maumood. I saw some of the rooms that were free and took one not on the street side. After meeting with the owner I went online to book an additional night. The next morning I checked in and again was given a choice of available rooms. the staff was very helpful, offering me a welcome drink of tea or coffee. the room had a queen size bed which is nice for a large person, There is a bathroom in the room. there is also a terrace with tables for breakfast and a place to invite your friends to visit you for a tea of coffee or just to hang out. There is also Free Wifi connection at this hostel too, which is great! There is even an in house tour manager, Mr. Haitham Atef (Golden Earth Travel), who will assist with all your travel needs.
