Liked: The staff was amazing!!! They made sure we had breakfast to go every morning since we were always up early to see the sights. They booked everything we needed for us the entire weekend and even personally took us around town!! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Hostel. Can’t say enough good things about the entire staff’s hospitality!!

Liked: Everyone was very accomodating, especially when I sprained my ankle. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was safe and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Liked: The staff are all good guys, very helpful and happy to have a drink or a chat with you. The location is right downtown, near the metro station, local foods, street markets and nightlife. The tours the hostel offers are also very good and great value for money.

Liked: Highly recommended! Staff were excellent... thanks Amr, Peter, Mustafa and Ahmed!! You made our stay memorable (dancing on the felucca :) We stayed in a double room and it was spacious, clean and with air con. Very secure because of 24 hr reception. Amr organized our tours around Egypt- very good service! We DEFINITELY will be back to Egypt and will stay here again! thanks heaps Australian Hostel, Karina & Raul

Liked: The guy who runs the hostel, Amr, was amazing! He was extremely helpful, organized our tours and basically took care of everything for us, he even shared a meal that his mother had sent them from home! We had a fantastic time and I would recommend it to anyone. Great value for your money and great people.

Liked: I stayed at the australian hostel was really good choice because of the good services ( the TV with the English channels, the daily cleaning for the room , the tours they make.......) and all of that in realy reasonable price and in great location in down town. thanks to all of the staff for the friendly way of dealing with me.

Liked: The staff are particularly helpful. George in particular speaks impeccable english and is a good point of contact to start your stay in Egypt. He will give you a good idea of how much you should really be paying for certain services and, if you choose, will provide many tours and services from the hostel at a price that has not been inflated. The hostel is small and simple but the basics are covered and as in any small hostel it's the people that make you want to stay. I had planned to stay only one or two nights but ended up making it my base for the whole time I was in Egypt simply because I knew I could turn to the staff and have things taken care of. Highly recommended.

Liked: It's very clean and the beds are super-comfy. George and the team are very friendly and helpful with organising trips, tours and anything you may need for reasonable rates. The other people staying there were fun and its location is handy for everything yet not noisy. I'd definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Liked: I fell in love with the Australian Hostel! The atmosphere was fantastic! Great people, clean rooms, compfy beds, free breakfast...the list goes on! The staff were great fun and always willing to help and the budget tours offered are by far the most competitive around. It was one of the best places I've stayed at after two months of backpacking!! I love you Australian Hostel!
