It was more like a hotel, awesome location with view of the pyramids.

It's location it's suburb. Just a few minutes away from the Pyramids. I don't think you can get much closer (5 mins by taxi: +- 15 egyptian pounds). I saw only 2 other hotels in the neighbourhood (expensive ones). If you have a room from the 5th floor let's say, you'll have a good view on the pyramids. On the roof there's a bar with a superb - really suburb - view on the pyramids
There is however a big down side to this hotel as well: the street where the hotel is located is not so very nice. The rooms itself are also not so very clean (i.e the carpets. I don't think they have a vacuum cleaner).
The bathroom was clean, and also the bedsheets are refreshed every day.
Be aware that the road next to the hotel is extremely noisy, also at night, so don't forget your earplugs.
I'd say: if you're looking for a budget hotel, with top location and view this is a very good deal. If you're a person that is very into luxury and cleaniness, you'd better look further.
