Liked: This hostel had a good location, but was just an OK hostel. It was just a place of business, thats all. Good for couples, but not for the individual traveler.

Liked: Very centrally located. Don't be put off by the dodgy looking entrance - it is Cairo - the hostel itself is lovely. We booked 2 of the 4bed private rooms - really spacious, which was brilliant with so many sharing a room.

Liked: I have chosen this hostel because of the location in town. For that it was for us really perfect - food walk to the museum, food walk to the islamic quarter. We were very happy that it was also a good hostel, clean, big room. only it was quite noisy - the street is right before the window.

Liked: Brightly painted and clean made it feel very safe and homely after arriving in busy dusty Cairo. Lovely simple Egytian breakfast offer with the room. Great location in busy downtown and quite room (can't hear those horns outside!)

Liked: Towels, soap and toilet paper. Cleanest and best hostel rooms we've had in Egypt. Be warned not to pay in advance. If your plans change there are no 'systems' in place for a refund - even if you are staying at the hostel later on in your trip!!
