It´s located in the middle of Quito with walking distance to both old and new town. It´s clean with new towels and bedsheets every day. Hot water!

the owners and workers are extremely friendly, and in a genuine way. if you want a place that is friendly, clean as can be (really spotless), and home-y, go to chicago hostel. the terrace has a great view and the kitchen makes traveling economic. there is also a great dvd selection and lounge room on the first floor. i have returned to this hostel twice--every time i return to quito.

I liked the location between the Old and New Cities. There were multiple mercados near the hostel which was convenient. The street it is on is busy so there are many taxis...but it is also very loud. Overall, a pretty good stay.

liked everything.... was in a great location near to the old town and the new town, easy access to transport, staff were very friendly and helpful, and great atmosphere.
