Why Chicago Hostel? - It doesn't matter if you are recently arriving to South America or if you are an experienced traveler in these regions - 24 hours hot water and hard pressure showers are always appreciated!

Our building is a modern structured house with colonial elements showing the warmth of old times; but with all the facilities and comforts that modern times require.

The hostel is located between Old and new Quito. We are only steps away from famous historic sites such as the Basilica church, Palacio de Cristal museum, San Blas square, San Fransicso square, Plaza de la Independencia, Itchimbia park and all of the most important historic locations here in Quito.

All of these monuments to Latin and Ecuadorian history and culture have culminated in making our neighborhood a UNESCO heritage site.

Our neighborhood is now considered to be the safest in the centre of Quito thanks to 24 hour security patrols and the fact that there is a police station only two blocks from the hostal.
