Chicago Hostel

Welcome to Chicago Hostel in the best country of South America "Ecuador" where there are four regions in one country: though relatively tiny, Ecuador boasts the world treasure of the Galapagos Islands, the warm and sunny Pacific coast, the majestic Andes mountain range, the Amazonian rain forest. Our hostel is located in the middle of Quito between Old Town and La Mariscal, we have a covered top terrace with an amazing view of the Old Town. We speak English for your confort.

Our hostel is conveniently located near all major public transportation, inside a traditional neighborhood of Quito called San Blas, in the border between the Old and New Town. Our hostel is located to 8 minutes away to the Main Square in the Old Town and 20 minutes away to the La Mariscal (walking distances). We are only steps away from famous historic sites and all of these monuments to Latin and Ecuadorian history and culture have culminated in making our neighborhood a UNESCO heritage site.

Check-out at 11H00 (Chicago hostel does not offer extended use of facilities after check-out)
Check In service is only from 14H00 to 02H00 (There is some flexibility but it will need to be confirmed with us before you book).If you will arrive before 14H00, please make a reservation for the prior night or otherwise you have the option to deposit your bags in the reception until the check in time.

Our Hostel is not responsible for changes or delays in itinerary of airlines wich may affect the operation of the confirmed service, in that case, charges will be applied up to the full cost of the reservation.

Location Information

Chicago Hostel is located very close to the Historic Center, Basilica church, La Compania church, Alameda Park, Elejido park, Itchimbia park, San Blas square, San Francisco square, Plaza Grande square, different museums and art galeries in the Old Town. Besides, for a couple of dollars you could get the Panecillo (Virgen on the top of a hill), Teleferico(cable car) and the Mariscal (night live area). Very close to our hostel is located some very nice restaurant on the top of the Itchimbia hill including an amazing view of the Old Town and you could get very good restaurants in the Historic Center as well. Also,from our hostel is very easy to go to La Mitad del Mundo.

Finally, our place is located near to the more important Buses Stops as Ecovia, Trolebus and Metrobus. These are the three more important, reliable and safe buses system in Quito.
