Liked: Leaving.

Disliked: The entire place smelt musty and mouldy. The kitchen facilities were bare minimum. Our room was dank and dingy. The tour they recommended and booked for us was a complete rip-off and no compensation was given when half the tour promised was not delivered! Bus information to leave Quito given by Hostel staff was out of date and resulted in us being delayed in our travels. Overall a bad Christmas experience! Wish we had never stayed and will not be recommending!

Liked: The laundry service is very handy, rooms were clean and kitchen was a good facility. Most importantly the staff were really friendly and helpful. When i was feeling ill the girl at reception took me to the hospital and made sure i got seen to- lovely people!

Liked: It is a nice, clean and good hotel and the staff ir very very friendly. Also the safety ist very very good. It is a very nice place to stay and i recommend this place.

Liked: Clean; comfortable beds; free breakfast includes eggs, toast, coffee and juice; hot shower, soap, towels included; laundry service (costs extra), good location, safe area; wi-fi in lobby (and sometimes it was working in the room as well). My only problem was the fact that I had made a reservation and then my bus was 15 hours late. I didn't arrive until noon the day after my reservation. I still had to pay for the night that I didn't even stay. I tried to negotiate a deal (I'll stay 4 more nights if you take off the night I wasn't here) but they wouldn't go for it. Lesson learned, don't book a hostel if you have an overnight bus that might be half a day late (and don't use Ormeño bus company).
