 The atmosphere with the other travelers an social nights. Special excursions and helpful travel advice posted on the walls.

The activities they have to offer there is sometime on everynight. Which is good when you are travelling by yourself

they have tours and city stuff posted every where in the hostel which was really helpful. they have and average breakfast but if you want more options they have a big menu ($2-4) with lots of great things on it. monday, wednesday and friday is free rum and coke night!! a free tub of really strong rum and coke for everybody to drink. the only thing that is bad about the hostel..well maybe its just the part of new town..its pretty dangerous outside and around the hostel. a few people were mugged and robbed when i was there so be careful around new town if you plan on staying there....otherwise the hostel is great!

The free 12 litres of rum and coke every Mon, Wed and Fri certainly makes El Centro del Mundo a sociable and easy place to meet other travellers. It is not conducive to learning Spanish but it is definitely cheap and cheerful!

Awesome place! So much info for tourists - stuff to do, maps, impt helpful info etc. Fantastic breakfasts, you can order food 24 hrs, free rum and coke nights 3 times a week! We had the "executive suite" - great value. Really friendly staff. Excellent location. Highly recommended.

All the informations they give, they answer all the questions very clearly and kickly too.Fun littles trip around are organizes,very cheap too...
Frendly staff...I meet so many cool peoples and I made miself a lot of friends...The rum and coke nights are such a good way to socialize with other travelers...A+

This hostel is one of the best hostels i´ve ever stayed in! The staff is extremely helpful and knows everything to do in quito and the surrounding areas. He even plans trips that the travelers can go on as well, it was the best day i´ve spent yet in quito!!

This hostel is the best one we have stayed at in South America. There is a huge amount of information available to guests on things to do and see in Quito, around Quito and other parts of Ecuador. The staff are extremely helpful and the food is delicious. The owner is only too happy to help in any way he can to make your stay wonderful. We liked it so much we stayed another 3 nights. Highly highly recommended. Room 12 (double or triple) is lovely and cozy.

I really enjoy to stay at this hotel, the staff was really helpfull to plan the visit of the city, it was clean and the food was really good. The atmosphere was friendly and I met a lot of people. It really worth it!

I really liked this hostel as it is a real backpackers' hotel, downtown Quito. We are well directed for the activities, it is a fun place and everything you need (information, alcohol, food, water, great people to meet) is there! Best hotel to go to!

Coolest place I've been in Ecuador! Its clean, great location, good food, super staff and the partys...OMG ! The owner, Pierre, has many great infos to share! Well organised day trips can also be booked directly at the hotel! You cannot go to Ecuador without staying at centro del mundo!

the fact that the owner has given to us good informations to visit ECUAdor, even he has some excursions from his hotels to many place in Ecuador at a cheap price
