BY TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT: The easiest, cheapest & safest way to come is to book a taxi directly at the information centre located on your right just after the immigration exit. ($5 day/$6 night). Even though the real price on the street is $3, avoid travelling this way because you will probably end up paying more. BY BUS FROM THE AIRPORT: ($0.25) Walk 3 min outside the airport straight to Amazonas Av. Then take a bus posted JUAN LEON MERA after a 20 to 30 minutes bus ride, you will get to the corner of Amazonas and Calama St. Walk 2 blocks left on Calama St. to Reina Victoria St. then turn left one block we are located at Lizardo Garcia E7-26 between Almagro and Reina Victoria streets. COMING FROM THE BUS STATIONS: There are two bus stations in Quito, the first one is called 'Quitumbe' it is in the south of the city, a taxi from there to the hostel should not exceed $10. You can also take the trolley bus ($0.25) to 'Ejido' bus stop from there a taxi ($1) to the hostel.
The second one is called 'Carcelen' it is in the north, a taxi from there to the hostel should not exceed $7. Taking buses from there to the hostel is a bit complicated.

Be careful in the trolley bus because it's dangerous for its pickpockets. Important: The minimum taxi ride is $1. During the day until 8 pm the taxis should use the taximeter which starts at 0.35 cents. At night you need to bargain the price with the driver
