Carlos, his family and staff were very friendly and accomodating. They offer many extras including a free tour of the city, free airport pickup/drop off, and good advice for day trips. They can also arrange reasonable trips to the Galapagos and other destinations for you.

THEIR TRAVEL AGENCY OFFERS REALLY CHEAP TOURS TO ANYWHERE INSIDE ECUADOR!! THE STAFF IS GREAT AS IS THE BREAKFAST. FREE INTERNET, PICK UP AND DROP OFF AND SOME OTHER FACILITIES. THE HOSTEL IS REALLY NICE AND THE FREE TOUR TO THE OLD TOWN IS VERY HELPFUL =)

Fantastic hostel - best we've EVER stayed at! Didn't want to leave!! ;-) The hostel is in a charming building with loads of character, the family running the hostel are amazing - super friendly, helpful and genuinely nice! Great breakfast, free internet, room was huge, clean and nicely furnished. Hostel was very secure. Free airport transfer was fabulous, free city tour also included! We did Middle of the World tour with Danielle, he is fantastic! The whole family is adorable ;-) Highly recommend this hostel!

Fantastic, English-speaking staff. Efficient laundry service. Great breakfast. Airport pickup AND drop-off. One of the best places we've stayed in South America.

The hosts are EXTREMELY nice and very helpful. It's a family run hostal and they care for you as if you are a guest in their house. Very clean and comfortable, safe, close walk to the Mariscal "hot" areas and markets, and an excellent breakfast to top it off. Feels more like a Bed & Breakfast than a hostal. I met some nice people here, but it is not a party hostal, so if you want that in your accomodation, look elsewhere. I would highly recommend this place.

Family run, couldn´t do enough to help you. Airport pick up and drop off and City tour all good, felt safe and valued. Huge and clean rooms. The owners were very friendly and obviously cared about their hostel and the people staying there.

The family who owns this hostal is great. Very friendly and it is great that they offers tours and can arrange other travel arrangements as well at the hostal.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home and enjoy Equador - incredible family atmosphere. The service included free transfers to and from the airport, free lift to the bus terminal at 6.00 am on Saturday morning and a meal of home-baked empanadas and cakes with coffee to welcome us. Can´t recommend this hostel enough - the best we have stayed in in South America.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were homely and comfy. The entire place had a feeling of staying at a cool uncle's house. The bathroom in our room was very large and all brand new. Every question we had was answered with a smile. One of the best hostel/B&B's I have ever stayed in.
