Liked: We arranged for airport pick up around midnight and a cabdriver was waiting for us.

Liked: Location is excellent. Near to restaurants, nightclubs and supermarket.

Disliked: Prices are WITHOUT taxes! Staff do not speak english. The room was low, very dark. Bath equipment is old. Very poor soundproof. You can hear your neighbors on top walking, taking bath and so on.

Liked: It's a very cute and homey place, but is also very clean, with functioning facilities. The location is great, and the lady who runs it is very helpful- she even called a taxi for me at 4:30 a.m. because I had to leave for the airport.

Disliked: The only thing is that it is a little more expensive, but I've found with hostels in Ecuador that you get what you pay for.

Liked: Nice and quiet even though it is in the area with a lot of bars and clubs.

Liked: It was very pleasant to stay in this posada. Nice atmosphere, wifi, good location, fine room, nice breakfast. very oke!

Liked: I stayed here on several occassions during my stay in Ecuador. It is a good place to meet people and exchange information. The hostel also allows you leave luggage while you travel around.

Liked: The location was excellent and the lady at reception was friendly and helpful. However the older lady at breakfast was very grumpy - not a great start to the day! The bathroom smelled, however we found that to be the case at other hostels as well.

Liked: Run by a bunch of amateurs. Don't bother booking ahead, as the person who checks reservation emails apparently does not work at weekends. Therefore when we turned up it was already full despite us having paid a deposit. The cleaner who answered the door was also very rude to us. They put us in a sister hostel, The Alcala, which was more expensive. When we went there and asked to see the room the owner angrily slammed both fists on the desk. We went somewhere else after one night, as we didn't feel welcome or safe.
