It has just got a little trickier. From July 2009 there are 2 New Bus Terminals in QUITO. To go north of Quito one must go to the new north bus terminal called Carcelen. There is a local bus that goes to Carcelen and passes through the Mariscal on Calle Juan Leon Mera which costs $0.25 and takes around 45 minutes. Then jump on any bus heading to Otavalo, Ibarra or Tulcan and get off on the Pan-Americana or at the terminal in Otavalo. Give us a call from any cabina and if we are around the area we will come pick you up. Alternatively just ask any taxi to take you to Rose Cottage, & quote "al lado de la escuela Federico Gonzales Suarez de Mojandita". It should cost no more than $3.
