Hosteria Cabañas Rose Cottage is made up of seven separate houses, six named lovingly after the Volcanoes which surround them, and the seventh is the original Rose Cottage!

We also have the little touches that are pretty unique, tennis and table-tennis, large green open spaces and a view overlooking no less than four different volcanoes, and don’t forget our animals, the children love them!

All our room prices include continental breakfast and are exclusive of 12% local tax.

Casa Imbabura: Imbabura is the largest house, containing a large eight bed dorm , a double room and a single. With a terrace looking out onto our tennis court, Imbabura has its own communal areas, containing a small kitchen (for the use of which there is an extra $1 charge), TV lounge, book and DVD library. With its many beds and independent facilities Imbabura is an ideal base for groups or for independent travellers on a budget.

Cabaña Cayembe:One for the romantics, this beautifully designed wooden chalet with private bathroom sleeps up to three. Its heavenly location means you could wake up looking out onto not one, but two Volcanoes from the comfort of your bed. And it won’t break the bank.

Casa Cotopaxi:Towering over the rest of the houses, Cotopaxi is the social centre of Rose Cottage, home to our restaurant, lounge, table-tennis table and bar. Upstairs we have two double rooms (one with private bathroom) and a three-bed room all with fantastic views onto the surrounding hills

Casa Cotacachi: Secluded from the other houses at Rose Cottage, Cotacachi has fantastic views of the taxopamba valley. With 4 double rooms of which one has a private bathroom, Cotacachi is an ideal place to relax and unwind. There is also a separate TV room in this house.

Accommodation Information

Casa Chimborazo: is an independent cottage with private lounge with TV and DVD player, cooking facilities, bathrooms and two balconies looking out over Otavalo and the Imbabura Volcano in one direction and Volcan Cotacachi in the other. Built with families in mind this cottage is just as suitable for small groups looking for a degree of privacy in comfortable surroundings without breaking the bank.

Casa Rose Cottage: Sometimes known as the Romeo and Juliet Suite, this lovely little house has its own bathroom and fireplace, as well as the beautiful views. It is much sought after by Honeymoon couples!

Casa Fuya Fuya: This large house has upstairs Rose Cottage’s own Library and meeting room, accommodating up to 25 people for meetings, lectures etc. Downstairs there is the handsome Owners’ Suite, a two room suite with ensuite bathroom , a living room with fireplace and its own balcony with hammocks.
