Liked: If you are looking for a clean place with friendly staff this is the place for you. Most of the rooms have en-suit showers with hot water all day. Also we arrived late and hungry and the owner Roberto got his car out drove us to a restaurant and came back an hour later to pick us up. When we tried to book a taxi to the bus station Roberto said no need and he took us. You would not this service at a 5 star hotel. We have been traveling for ten months and this is one of the best hostels we have stayed in.

Liked: We have been traveling south america for 4 months so far and this is one of the best hostels we have stayed in! Excellent value for money, the staff are friendly and very helpful, short walk to everything in town, not far from the famous market, wifi worked well, very clean, tv & dvd player, kitchen is well equipped, supermarket is very close. Roberto drove us to the bus station and made sure we got on the right bus! We would DEFIANTLY recommend this hostel!

Liked: Clean, central, good price for a nice room. Less then 5 minutes walk into centre of town (markets) and $1 taxi ride from bus station. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a private double room with own bathroom therefore didn't meet any other people, plus we only stayed for one night! Room was spacious with TV, bathroom, nice shower with hot water (strong shower too for SA!). Wonderful views across city to mountains from the roof terrace is a plus.

Liked: Clean & safe with big rooms but very quiet midweek and up a hill so after day at market is far to walk. And is far from all restaurants.

Liked: Roberto was extremely friendly and helpful. On our first day, he showed us where to go in Otavalo and walked us into town to do our laundry. He even drove us to the bus station on our last day. A kitchen is available to guests and was a great place to meet people, and we had a TV and DVD player (with English DVD) in our room. Highly recommended.

Liked: Great hostel and close to where most of the buses drop you off on the Panamerican highway. The owner was very friendly and even walked me to a good restaurant he knew.

Liked: The owner was the friendliest hostel owner I have ever met. He supplied a map of the area, took me to the beautiful roof and pointed out all the sights, eating places etc. He is the model all others should copy. The rooms were large, clean and actually had a TV. The location is on a slight rise and the view is great.

Liked: The best thing about the hostel is the man who runs it, Roberto. Not only does he take the time to acquaint you with the whole city by showing you everything from the beautiful rooftop terrace of the hostel, but he actually walked me and my friends to the bus stop and helped us save time and money doing so. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and accomodating, without being overbearing and made the hostel the perfect place to stay.
