La Casa del Camino Mindo

La Casa Del Camino Mindo is located in the lush forest of Mindo, Ecuador. Surrounded by green mountains this sub-tropical valley is home to the larges bird count in the world, beautiful waterfalls, hiking trails and extreme sport attractions. Our hostel offers private cabins with full bathroom that have a splendid view of the property. We offer restaurant service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has an open view to Mindo's forest and lush vegetation that's all around.

La Casa Del Camino Mindo is located in Mindo, Ecuador just 1.5 hours from Quito the capital.

Our guests can count with professional friendly service. We speak fluent English and enjoy making our guests feel at home. At La Casa del Camino Mindo our guests can relax and enjoy the best of nature. The property is planted with local fruit trees that attract many types of bird species such as the humming birds amongst others. We also have a pond filled with water plants and frogs that offer during mating season a frog concert after sunset. The property is approximately 2000 sq. meters and offers our guests the opportunity to walk and see the fruit trees as well as pick some fruit for snaking.
We have Wi-Fi access available at no extra cost to our guests and a communal sitting area where guests can enjoy relaxing, reading a book or socialize.

At La Casa del Camino Mindo we have ecological cabins built with recycled wood and we also have Shared rooms available and Private Cabins that accommodate 2 or 3.

Tours around Mindo can be arranged at our reception as well as transportation.

Restaurant service is available for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We offer continental breakfast, Mondo’s typical dishes like tilapia, chicken, beef and pork, plantain in a variety of recipes and fresh fruit juices from local fruit. We can also accommodate our guests if they need a personal menu.

We offer our kitchen as a communal kitchen if our guests would like to use it.
We have a parking area for vehicles inside our gated property.

Double Rooms w/shared bathroom come with a double bed, linens, towels, soap, shampoo, shared bathroom w/warm water shower.

At La Casa del Camino Mindo we provide guiding services to our guests and can assist in planning their daily tour. There is a variety of attractions for all ages starting with bird watching, canopy zip lines, tubing, canoeing, rappel, trekking, sightseeing, butterfly farms, orchid farms, chocolate tour, frog concert and any activity you would like to do can be arranged from La Casa del Camino Mindo.
