From Quito, catch the Flor de Valle bus from Ofelia bus terminal. At the time of writing, buses leave at 8:30am and 3:30pm everyday. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the terminal for approximately $35, or else Vinicio can handle all the transport arrangements for you. Quito to Mindo takes around two hours.

The Birdwatcher´s House is on Avenida los Colibries, the street with ´The Chef´s restaurant on the corner. Alternatively ask any local for directions to the Birdwatcher’s House – everyone knows Vinicio Perez!
