Hostal La Casa is one of the newest independently owned hostels in Guayaquil, Ecuador. We opened our doors in September 2009.

Our hostel is centrally located in a busy, safe neighborhood, close to public transportation as well as local attractions. We are proud that our Hostel is totally unique and will make you want to come back again and again. We guarantee a long list of amenities and our friendly, multi-lingual staff is available to assist with anything you might need.

Accommodation Information

We offer dorms of only 4 beds per room with shared bathrooms, one private twin and one double en-suite. All rooms are clean, safe and comfortable. Need hot water? All our showers, private and shared have hot water and when the day gets super hot, why not cool down by dipping in out swimming pool. As well, we have an awesome common room stocked with DVD movies, cable TV, books (available for exchange) and fast free internet. A huge communal kitchen will make you feel right at home as you can cook whatever your heart desires. La Casa will be your Guayaquil home!

Location Information

Centro? Who needs to live in the centre? Mapasingue Oeste is where is it at! Our Hostel is located in a safe neighbourhood 2 blocks from a metro-via that can take you down-town in 15-20 mins. Close by are supermarkets, fresh food markets and small real Guayaquilian eateries. Wanting to fine dine in cafes and restaurants or go out partying? Urdesa is only 5 mins by taxi or 20 mins if you feel like walking. If nature is your thing, Cerro Blanco, a beautiful flora and fauna reserve, is also super close. Mapasingue Oeste is is the place to be!
