Liked: The pool!!! it was so hot, that it was nice, having a refreshing swim.

Disliked: It was dirty, the showers didn't seem to be cleaned at all. The walls are really thin, so its hard to sleep after traveling all day when some people are partying. It was very busy and there weren't enough tables or seating areas.

Liked: there´s a pool. and a bunny pet

Disliked: everything, the water on the pool didnt look clean, they give you a small breakfast and I had to wait 1 hour each morning to get it, the bathrooms floor are wet and filthy from people going in and out of the pool, the stairway to my room in the lower level was wet and people would slip on it all the time, there is a fat ecuatorian boy "working" there that was really rude and inmature, played music really loud, and made offensive comments when asked to lower it. Also the breakfast is on the patio, but it was raining, I had to grab a table and chair and take them inside by myself and dry them to use them

Liked: Just a very brief stay but I was well recieved and had a good night´s sleep. The place seemed nice.

Liked: Location is handy to shops and supermarket. Feels very safe. Good kitchen. CUTE bunny rabbit. Beds pretty comfy. Well priced.

Disliked: Filth. Black feet from walking around barefoot. Not at all clean. Swimming pool needs a good Chlorine hit. Lazy and non-helpful staff watching TV all day. Just about beaten up by aggressive Finnish guy inside the hostel. Cooked dinner and stored leftovers for lunch following day; by morning leftover were thrown out. To be honest I couldn't wait to leave.

Liked: The pool was lovely. For $22 very good value in Guayaquil.

Disliked: The fan in the room was pretty noisy.

Liked: This was by far the nicest, friendlyiest, comfiest and most relaxing hostel we have stayed in the whole of South America. The girl on the desk was above and beyond helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast - which was brought to your table - was amazing.

Disliked: Nothing. The location,staff and hostel itself were perfect.

Liked: Great pool, fast internet, very helpful staff. Breakfast included, it wasn't especially generous but it was delicious.

Disliked: No lockers in dorms, very noisy

Liked: The pool and location were its strong point. Good size kitchen and rooms were clean and tidy.

Disliked: Hot shower would have been nice-not essential on hot days though. Walls were thin, you could hear noises from other rooms and outside partyers.

Liked: I really liked this hostel, the staff where great and the room I stayed in was very comfortable. Internet was working well, no issues, will be going back to stay again on my way to Galapagos. There are plenty of good restaurants around and a supermarket really close bye.

Disliked: There is only one tap in the shower and the water is cool, however this is not a problem because the temperature in Guayaquil is such that you only ever need a cool shower. The location is a bit out of town but if you jump on the number 52 bus (25 cents) you can be in town in about 5-10 minutes.

Liked: One of the owners was very knowledgeable and helpful, nice pool for summer, big rooms. Overall a good hostel for Guayaquil.

Disliked: No lockers, location a bit out of the way, and very quite during the low season

Liked: One of nicest hostels we satyed in South America. Very friendly owners, fun place, great pool which is definitely good in boiling hot Guayaquil. Supermarket close, restaurants close, good kitchen. Had a good time with guests and workers there who played music (but probably not too much to disturb anybody) at evenings at the pool. Hostel is pretty easy to find with taxi from airport and bus station, drivers seems to know place pretty often. Taxis from airport are safe to take what ever time of day.

Disliked: Its far from Malecon and old city center, you have to take a taxi (its only 3-5$) but have to be careful choosing taxi from city center to get an official taxi. Could be a bit cleaner around pool and more chairs to chill out and sunbath.

Liked: The manger was very kind and she was really helpful with anything we needed.

Liked: It did have a pool, however the owners friends were around (older men) sitting around drinking and that was not conducive to us enjoying it. They were however hospitable, calling the taxi and waking up at an early hour and even providing us with breakfast.

Disliked: The dirtiness, the older men hanging around, the mosquitoes, the ANIMALS (the critters were everywhere!!!----several dogs, cats and even a rabbit)....

Liked: Hammocks are lovely, breakfast is massive (different juice every morning!)

Disliked: On the Saturday night there was a big group of guys (not guests) around the pool which was a little intimidating, but that may just be me...

Liked: Nice pool, free Internet and free dvd watching. Nice restaurants in the area close by. Quiet at night in the safe nabourghood.

Disliked: It´s not really clean in the kitchen, outside or in the pool. It´s smells a bit like dog in the common area too. The break fast could be better.

Liked: Nice place in a nice neighbourhood. Much more relaxed than the city center. Bus 52 takes you their easier than breathing.
