 I only stayed for a very short time, (8pm to 6.45am as I was travelling home to England. The place was beautiful and very clean. Ellen was so nice and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the facilities. I didn't meet any other guests because of the shortness of my stay.

Very friendly family-run home. Great breakfast. Clean comfortable accomodations. Good value.

Extremely friendly host family. Very accommodating and helpful. The only drawback is that it is about 10k from the city, but that is only $.50 and a 20 minute bus ride. Also, the family will offer to take you into town with them if they are headed that way.
It is a great place to relax and unwind if you are used to crowded gap year hostels.

Quiet location not too far from the bus station and airport. Spacious, comfortable rooms, extremely helpful owner and family. Ideal if you don't want to party but do need some R&R

I absolutley enjoed the time at casa tropical. All the members of the family are so nice and helpfull. The food, especialey the fresh fruits of the garden were fantastic. If I have to go back to Guayaquil, I would go back to this nice family.

You are made to feel at home and the staff are very friendly and helpful and are locals with a good knowledge of the city and the wider region of Ecuador.

Perfect for a first night when arriving from the airport. close to the parco historico de guayaquil that is nice to visit. the staff, andrea and is family are really nice and helpfull.

Andrea was most helpful during a strike that closed the bus terminal. she went out of her way to help me.

Lovely house in beautiful location, about 20 mins out of Guayaquil. Cosy family atmosphere...got fed supper with the family, who were kind and attentive and went out of their way to make my stay as relaxed as possible. Airport pickup included plus cheap taxi service in and out of town. A great stop over point for onward travel in Ecuador. Highly recommended.
