Liked: Very clean, great roof terrace, lovely building and rooms.

Liked: Beautiful hostal in a beautiful spot, just a few minutes walk from the town centre, right underneath the waterfall with truly spectacular views (from most rooms, especially the rooftoop terrace and restaurant). Room was comfy and clean with a nice little balcony. Good breakfast. Lots of spa services on offer but all at an extra cost, but good value for the room. Would definitley go back

Disliked: It is, as other reviewers have commented, very quiet in the evening. If you are looking for a nice tranquil retreat after a day of activities and a night out on the town, then it's perfect. If you want to party up at the hostal, then this is not the place for you. No major complaints though. My girlfriend and I went during Carnival weekend. The town was heaving and we were very glad to have a quiet spot to go back to.

Liked: Very nice rooms with bathrooms, looks like a nice family run hotel. A great place to stay in Banos. I would recommend it to everyone. Nice cafeteria on the roof terrace.

Disliked: No dislikes.

Liked: More a hotel than a hostel.. Very clean, cheap, quiet..

Disliked: I had nothing bad to say about this place, before the morning where I was paying for my stay.. Suddently they charced me 2 dollars extra per night - excusing themselves with the fact that I had been living alone in my dorm.. I never asked for a private room - and it's not my fault that their hostel was empty.. But they forced me to pay.. Really a shame that they cheat their own customers.. Other than that it's really quiet (which I liked), but not the best thing if you want to meet other travelers..

Liked: Place is immaculately cleaned, fresh towels each day & daily room clean. Close to town, can book tours through the hostel also. Not a place for you if you want to party, place is very calm & relaxed.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Cool place, good facilities and well priced.

Disliked: The tours run by the hostel are TO BE AVOIDED! We were very low on time so upon arrival during evening we booked horse riding tour via the hostel. This was advertised as 4 hours, including a waterfall that we could bathe in, and seeing a volcano. The ride turned out to be 2 hours on horses that were not up to the job (badly looked after), there was no waterfall, no volcano, was a massive disappointment and we only had enough time in town to do this 1 tour, we were gutted!!

Disliked: more of a hotel than a hostel - at 22:30 the common areas were closed. kitchen facilities exist but most of the utensils are locked away making food prep difficult

Liked: Great location, comfy beds, hot shower, cheap beer, free wifi and has spa services on offer for a good price. Cant complain

Liked: Steam bath. Right next to the hot springs. Rooftop terrace & views over the city.

Disliked: Very few guests so it was rather lonely. No lockers in rooms.

Liked: Really really clean hostel. Our room was immaculate and huge with a table and chairs and a small balcony. Nice atmosphere and brekky (although it's not included) was really yummy.

Disliked: The sheets didn't fit the mattress, nothing worse than waking up through the night to find that you're lying on a bare mattress! Also they advertise a jacuzzi however the guy refused to turn it on for us and was rude when we probed as to the reasons why. Don't advertise something if u won't or can't deliver.

Liked: Three free computers with internet. Comfortable beds. We were able to book our jungle tour through the hostel, which was very convenient. Hot water is plentiful.

Disliked: No lockers in dorm rooms, but you can give valuables to the front desk to keep in a safe. Not a particularly comfortable common area, but we didn´t spend much time in the hostel so it was fine for our purposes.

Liked: Great location, really friendly staff (front desk staff and the breakfast crew too!), big bright rooms, great value for the money, and the rooftop terrace is amazing (so close to the La Virgen waterfall!).

Disliked: Nothing, I have no complaints.

Liked: It was a really nice hostel! Spacious rooms, bathrooms not shared with too much people and clean. Prices were even lower than displayed on hostelbookers. (some people said the pool was empty; it's not empty any more. didn't use it though because it was too cold, but that's not their fault)

Disliked: There were no lockers (but you could leave stuff in the safe at the reception). And wifi only worked between 7.30 and 10pm. Not really a big deal, but still a bit annoying.

Liked: This hostel is a really nice place to stay in Banos. The roof terrace is amazing and offers delicious breakfast (not included but cheap). The rooms are really clean and have a nice size. The best thing we did in the morning was the steam bath, offered by the hostel as well.

Disliked: It's a bit more like a hotel — so not that easy to meet other travellers. Nevertheless one of our best hostels we had during our trip.
