Liked: Very clean, safe friendly place. Has excellent steam baths and is walking distance to outdoor thermal hot springs aswell as all restuarants in town. Breakfast is on Terrace Cafe with great views over town.

Liked: best hostel ive stayed in south america for cost vs quality. its cheap as chips, has a pool, rooftop terrace and tons of internet computers.great clean rooms (so cheap budget backpackers can get rooms to themselves for cheaper than most dorms in town).its only flaw is a lack of bilingual staff, but if your spanish is iffy they still go out of their way to help.

Liked: Banos is beautiful. My room had a view of a waterfall from the private balcony. Quiet; hot water; walking distance to entire town.

Liked: Nice location and views of the waterfall from the balcony - fairly quiet during the week but same can be said for whole of Banos. Although they are extra cost the breakfasts are very good and reasonable prices.

Liked: Nicest hostel I've ever stayed in...private bathrooms in every room, they would come in and clean in the afternoons to replace sheets/towels. Definitely stay here!

Liked: Excellent hostel, very friendly owner, very clean, almost has hotel character (getting towels, cleaniness, great service) and such is great value for money, I loved the steam bath, very tasty breakfast is available at a cheap price. It's a new hostel and such it doesn't have many recommendations yet. However, I highly recommend a stay - one of the best hostels I´ve been to in South America.
