Liked: good location,and the cooking faciltes were good. supermarket nearby,and about 30mins walk into city

Disliked: the single room i stayed in was very basic compared to the double rooms, the bed had no head board,and the sheet was worn with a small hole in it. the wardrobe was small and not fixed to the wall. there was lots of dust above the window.. no mirror in bed room .i looked into the double rooms as they were vacant and the difference between the single and double is massive,which is a shame as the property is ideal.... even so,i would recommend this place

Liked: Very clean, nice and helpful staff

Disliked: nothing really we dislike this place, it may a bit distance from the center but Copenhagen is such a nice city to walk around anyway.

Liked: Everything smelled clean and people were nice. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. Confortable rooms with apropriate individual heating.

Disliked: Only one mirror on one of the bathrooms. Entrance door sometimes wasn't locked at night, which could be a risk (but it was not because the city is really safe).

Liked: The Rooms were nicely decorated and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had a full oven and there was a supermarket open until midnight just around the corner. Although it was a good 20 min walk into city centre the bus stop is just across the road (buses and everything else are VERY expensive in Copenhagen!!)

Disliked: The only down side was the lack of a mirror in the room below head height! (Also the washing machines and tumble dryers in the main bathroom were NOT for guest use - despite what is says on other review sites!)

Liked: Very clean and helpful staff. Nice private rooms, but still able to socialise in the kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen, with supermarket down the road. I stayed in the apartment down the road from the main one, but it was no more than an 20 second walk. As a lone female traveller in my late 20s I like my creature comforts. I was really happy with the property. It was walking distance to town. Unlike other reviewers I didnt have a problem with waiting for the bathroom. We all had our own schedules so I was always able to use it when I wanted. The kitchen was fully stocked with an oven so I could cook what I want. TV in room was great as needed time out between sightseeing. I would definetly stay here again. I was very happy with the place.

Disliked: Wooden floor boards and room next to kitchen. I left some food out to defrost one day on the bench and the cleaner threw it out, however when I told the owners they refunded the money (after I asked). I was very appreciative of that as they didnt tell me not to leave it out on the bench. They just said to make sure to throw my food out when I leave.

Liked: Nice large bedroom and classic furniture etc, handy having kitchen area and the location was just a 15min or so walk from the centre. All in all a good place to stay and we had a lovely break.

Disliked: - Just a single bathroom which also had the only toilet shared with 7 people meant that mornings were a bit of a battle to get showered etc.; often had to wait quite a while. - I had paid extra for the 'superior' room as I wanted it to be a little bit special for my partner's birthday; when we checked in we were shown to our room and it seemed pretty nice, we were so exhausted we just collapsed for a nap!.... Then as it turned out I noticed the next morning that we were not in the superior room at all and we saw into what was in fact the lovely superior room with 4-poster bed etc. that had already been given to another couple before we arrived!!! NOT IMPRESSED! not a huge amount of money wasted but it was the principal really, didn't see the point in raising it with the owner by this stage as the other couple were already settled in and I didn't want to argue about it on my partner's special day :(

Liked: We stayed in their accommodations in building #12 and it was really nice. Our room was really elaborately furnished. They had a great kitchen with a few basics to help you cook. Bathroom is really clean. It's really close to christianshavn.

Disliked: The bed in our room was super creaky and was very loud with the slightest movement.

Liked: The room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. It is an easy, pleasant walk to the central area.

Disliked: It's a good idea to bring earplugs. I was in the single room between the kitchen and the bathroom in one of the apartments. This meant I got woken up when some guests returned home late and started frying their dinner - at 2am - with the kitchen door wide open! And then again when other early bird guests started using the bathroom in the early hours of the morning.

Liked: the staff there is very friendly and helpful, the environment there is cozy and tidy. And i like the kitchen so much where u can find all equitments and tools as u need.

Disliked: all the things r good. if they can put a mirror in rooms will be better.

Liked: Friendly and clean. Great value for money and very homely. Central to Copenhagen's city centre and near other interesting locations in the city. A very laid back atmosphere in the property both guests and staff were friendly.

Disliked: The only thing to comment on was I didn't know where to empty the bin... I wasn't 100% sure if the staff were emptying the bins or if it was up to us.

Liked: The old fashioned decor and the heated floor in the bathroom. The super hot shower and the four poster bed. The massive flat screen TV on the bedroom wall and the large, clean, empty fridge. The location is also great - 5 metro stops from the airport and about 5-10 mins walk from town.

Disliked: The smell of cigarette smoke would occasionally drift in from the stairway and I think the previous guests had smoked in the room. Although not discomforting, this made our belongings smell of smoke.

Liked: This property has an excellent location (Amagerbrogade no. 4, at the crossroads with Ved Stadsgraven street), perfectly connected to the center via Torvegade street (7-8 minutes walk) and to the Central Station via Hand Christian Andersen boulevard and Langebro street (10-12 minutes walk). I travelled alone and security wise this location is more than okay late in the evening and at night. This BB is mainly for youngsters, so adults would probably feel more comfortable in a hotel, where they have a private bathroom and full silence. Here, on the other hand, there are two shared bathrooms and a shared fully equipped kitchen ready to be used by the renters. Access to the property is 24/7 due to the set of keys Emil and Mikael (the owners) give to the renters and they make sure to provide high quality services to the guests. They are very friendly and easygoing people and talking to them on various subjects is really a pleasure. It feels like a big family when everyone meets in the kitchen or lounge for a cup of tea and a chit-chat and the atmosphere is so convivial that it feels like in a second home. Hygiene and cleaniness: this property is in perfect condition. Each room is decorated with a specific and they are squeaky clean when rented to the guests. They are equipped with a TV set and cable and wireless internet connection runs through the entire house at all times. My single room was so clean, I felt bad about entering and passing through the hallway with my shoes on at night. There is also a lounge room decorated in rococo style where the guests can comfortably sit, have a cup of coffee and read or surf the internet. The bathrooms are perfectly hygienized and refreshened every single day and they are equipped with two washing machines and two driers, shower, watertap and toilet. Handsoap, towels and hairdrier are at the disposal of the guests at all times. I give this BB a perfect ten and this includes: - Location - Comfort - Hygiene - Friendliness - Money

Liked: It's really clean. Location is great, just 15 mins walk from city centre. House owner is very friendly.

Disliked: The hostel is located inside a residential building, so do not expect to have a sign outside (but you could see it at the side of the front door).
