Liked: The lobby is well decorated. The bed is comfortable. and the shower is quite clean.

Disliked: the WIFI is slow and it was out for the whole evening. Some ppl smoked in the shower/toilet. Seems that residence can only eat their food in a small area. If you sit in the bar area, they might ask you to buy a drink. The room is quite narrow, if you have alot of luggage,(e.g. big suitcase) you should consider about it.

Liked: Very good atmosphere due to the common room with bar, kitchen and lounge area. This also makes it really easy to meet other people. The staff gave me one of their laptops so I could book on Hostelbookers with discount.

Liked: very good location, very nice caffe/bar downstairs

Disliked: we could check in at 15.00 lthough we arrived there at 9 am and they told us we would get the room atest at 14.00. Cleaning ladies were singing so loudly that woke us up ver warly in one morning and the other morning we woke up with the noise of a thriller.

Liked: Danhostel has great character, comfy beds, and a fantastic location.

Disliked: It would be nice if the breakfast was complementary, but it was still pretty cheap, and of a better quality than most breakfasts found at hostels.

Liked: This hostel is in a really accessible area - you can walk just about everywhere! Decent kitchen, rooms and bathrooms all clean, staff very accommodating and helpful.

Liked: Really nice chillout area, great to see a book exchange. Kitchen was really well set up, and quite a few bars on the same street if that's what you're after (without being too noisy either). Also great location, so close to the station and the main shopping strip.

Disliked: WiFi was a bit hit-and-miss, and perhaps could use a couch or two to make use of the book exchange in comfort.

Liked: Downtown Copenhagen was a great hostel, in a really great location near to trains, shopping, bars and the Tivoli, and had really great staff. The breakfast was brilliant for the price, the food and drinks affordable, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with lots of power sockets around for charging and i never had to wait for showers. Overall, i would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Disliked: Check in was at 2pm, which was fine - but i arrived at 11.30am and then my room wasn't ready till 4pm - so I waited 4.5 hours for check in, cos my level was still being cleaned. Having said that, they did give me a glass of wine while i waited and were very apologetic. Also - the wifi wasn't working a lot of the time. And there were no lockers in the rooms, which is a high priority for me.

Liked: Good location, great atmosphere and clean facilities. A great relaxing yet vibrant place to peacefully have a beer or partake in a game of foosball.

Liked: The location of this place is absolutely incredible! It's literally minutes from the central station, and once their I didn't spend any money of public transport. Staff were friendly, social area was clean and colourful with lots of plugs for charging. The linen and towel (which was included) were clean soft. The beds were simple and sturdy and didn't make a lot of noise when the top bunk person climbed on. I had a great sleep on both nights.

Disliked: It would have been nice to see slightly more organised social events for people like solo travellers to meet other people.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful stuff. Close to the City. Funny people around. I really had a good time there

Disliked: Check in was at 2pm. We arrived at 11am, so we had to wait 3 hours. 12pm would be the best check in time in my opinion.

Liked: I really loved the chill-out area that is just perfect if you wanna relax after walking around the whole day. I could stay there for hours, maybe I even did ;) It is a perfect area to relax - also given that the bedrooms were not really nice. Also our pizza was really ok! ok, honestly, it was not the best pizza I've ever had, but still really good and for an affordable prize.

Disliked: The bedrooms were ok for one night. There is no luxury and rooms do not really look friendly. There was still the smell of smoke of last days that, of course, I didn't like. Another thing was that there were no ladders to get into the upper beds - that was a bit weird in my sense. So I had to climb into my bed using the radiator and the window board. (Actually, I don't know how my friend did for the other bed)

Disliked: beds (no safety bars on the top bed), three showers per level (between ~20 rooms), no sound proofing. There were people up all night playing soccer in the hallway and jumping around (hence we didn't sleep that night). There is no noise controll.

Liked: It offers everything you need for a stay in Copenhage. Linen, location, kitchen to cook, place to sit and relax, good internet connection. I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel.

Disliked: One main drawback, I booked this via hostelbookers, but on arrival, they asked me to pay in Danish Krone. Then, I asked whether it's possible to pay in Euro. They said it's ok, but when converted the currency, it's more expensive than what is stated in hostelbookers letter. I showed them my booking and finally the problem is solved. So, it's okay.
