Liked: The location was absolutely perfect, also the reception area was nice and cozy. I also liked that there were so many other tourists who had decided to stay in this particular hostel which made the atmosphere international and busy.

Disliked: I don't know about the other rooms, but at least our room (double room with bathroom) was incredibly small! You could hardly move when you had your suitcases and other stuff on the floor. The price for that kind of room could have been slightly smaller or then a bit bigger room. Also huge minus is the lack of mirror!!! There could have easily been a mirror on the door for example or something.

Liked: location, obvi

Disliked: there's plenty of things to dislike. you just have to be realistic with yourself. it's a really cheap, really convenient hostel right near most of the sites to see in Copenhagen. if you're smart, you bring your own bedlinen, you know there's gonna be the extra fee for the valu-hi club or whatever, you don't pay for their other services... then it's a good deal and a bed for the night. if you do start paying for other stuff, you'll get bogged down and hate yourself. just be honest with yourself.

Liked: just the good location

Disliked: almost everything: very expensive (hostelcards required each day, bedlinen and towels are sold together, WLAN is not free and has to be paid,...) dirty bathrooms, just 3 bathrooms for 1 floor with 30 people living in it, the shower is not working efficiently etc. etc.

Disliked: It was really expensive, if you arent a member of YMC they also charge extra 3E when you arrive. They charge as well extra for the sheets, the towels, internet. The rooms are really small and crawded. The bathrooms arent clean at all.

Disliked: the price the cleanness the atmosphere the nonfriendly staff the fact that you need to pay 35 DKK more when you dont have any youth hostel card, even if it's not emphasized on your website!!!!!!!!

Liked: centrally located.

Disliked: there are extra charges on every single item even for wifi access! we stayed in a "deluxe" triple room and we found out that the shared bathroom outside was more "deluxe" than our own attached bathroom. The room is for two persons only but they put an extra pullout bed to make it for three, i.e. it was overcrowded.

Disliked: washrooms tended to get dirty and staff said there was a kitchen, but it was closed for renovations.. not exactly what we paid for.

Liked: The location is perfect to you get to the main station, pubs, exchange rate places, tourist attractions and metro station Kongs Nytorv, which is the easiest way to the airport.

Disliked: The security is low. There are no lockers inside the rooms so you have to leave your luggage and value items in the room. Some rooms are 5-bed rooms, but one bed is hidden under another bed. So, some people don't respect your bed and if you don't sleep early, you may find someone sleeping on your bed sometimes. That sucks... if you travel with some friend, try to get a private room at this hostel.

Liked: The placement is very good.

Disliked: - Staff was not very helpful at all. Seemed very unfriendly. First I waiting 25 minuts in the line to check in. Then they couldn't find the room i booked eventhough i gave them my name and the booking information. - The room was very small, and it wasn't even possible to open the front door, because of an extremely annoying bed-ladder. (you had to climb over the ladder) - The rooms were pretty boring. With very cheap furniture. - The firealarm was extremely noice and annoying. I couldnt sleep half og the night because of it.

Liked: The best part of this hostel is the location. It is very near to the city center and shopping areas.

Disliked: First of all, I would like to tell that ı was charged almost 1000 krone more than the price I was told during online reservation. The manager told me that ı have to pay more since I do not have hostelling card and I had to pay extra commission for credit card. These applications did not respect their hospitality unfortunately. I felt I was overcharged unnecessarily since online reservation did not metnion about hostelling card and credit card commision. By the way this was the first time I had to pay commission in a hostel.. I did not like this practice. Also, the staff and other facilities are all charged with money (Coffee, internet etc), which is not the case for other hostels mostly. Finally, the bads are not so comfortable. In short , The only thing positive thing about this hostel is the location. It is jst a place to sleep at nights. No opportunity for entertainment and human relations.

Liked: The location is very good.

Disliked: The staff were rude and as unhelpful as they could be whilst still doing their job. There was a shortage of showers on each floor and sometimes up to 5 people were waiting for the 3 showers allotted to over 40 people
