About The MadHouse Prague
What makes us different to other hostels? At The MadHouse, we work hard to create an environment that gives backpackers a sense of home and family. Our bright and sunny kitchen provides the perfect setting for meeting fellow travelers over afternoon beer-pong sessions or hostel family dinners. Daily activities led by our staff include anything from trips to the beer gardens, to ice hockey games, to mad nights out.
Set up like a big house shared with 40 of your newest best friends, highlights include a comfy TV lounge full of bean bags and sofas where laziness is encouraged and free use of computers and WIFI throughout all rooms. The entire hostel was custom painted by two renowned graffiti artists from Montreal, Pito and Guko, meaning that you could lose yourself in one of our unique and spacious dorm rooms.
Things to note:
Our reception is open from 9am until 10pm. If you plan to arrive outside these hours, please contact us by email or telephone so that we can be sure to be there to check you in.

We are ideally located in Prague 1, just a few steps away from Narodni Trida tram and metro stations. A large Tesco supermarket is conveniently situated across the street and we are only a 5 minute walk from Prague’s historical center and sites including Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, and Charles Bridge. If you were to ask a local where the true center of Prague is, they would argue that we are there. With all the different options for eating and drinking so close by, you won’t have to stumble too far to find a cold beer or, on the contrary, your warm and comfy bed.
