Liked: Great hostel - the smoke did not seem to be a problem in the upstairs lounge like other review mentioned, downstairs is quite smoky though.There was a noisy ventilation pipe or something in the bedroom, but the noise was consistent so not too bad.

Liked: I loved this hostel. I loved the staff, atmosphere, decor, common room, pool table, nearby bars, free tours on offer and definitely the breakfast

Disliked: Laundry service is 10 euros which is a little expensive

Liked: It was a little way out of the city centre, but it was easy to navigate on public transport. Great value for money.

Disliked: My friend and I had a room right next to the general living area. Despite the hostel's policy of 'silence' after 11pm, guests continued to be extremely loud into the night and the staff did not ask them to be quiet and considerate of other guests.

Liked: I really like the facility in general, it's very nice. The staff is super nice and helpful. The kitchen has everything. Breakfast is good. It's very clean.

Disliked: The room that they put us in was like a cave. It only had one window facing the lounge area, so the window was cemented. I think, thought, that it's only that one room. Also, the basement, look pretty quinky, with a tenous red light...

Liked: Biggest value for money ever, like 9 euros the night with buffet breakfast and free internet included its ridiculous. Only bad thing is location, which is at a side of the city far from any metro station and you need to take a bus which stops running like at 11am. Its relative though, as the city is not very big and its lovely to walk around anyways

Liked: Simply amazing. Not the best location, but you have a bus stop right at the door which will let you within a 5 minute walk (or less) from the Old Town Square. A great experience.

Liked: Free internet, really good breakfast, fun people working there. Probably not your place if you mind people smoking though. A couple of small things they should fix: Oil the annoying howling doors! Put up locks on the bathroom doors (I don't need to walk in on somebody taking a shit!). Please move the pool table away from the wall!

Liked: The friendly staff were great, and were able to recommend some great stuff to do. The breakfast was also fantastic. But there was this lingering funky smell that made our stay a little unpleasant.

Liked: Everything great just our room was a bit cold and the hostel a bit far from the city centre...place for car it is not really provided, there's a car park nearby but doesnt belong to the hostel

Liked: They have a great common area and kitchen. Showers are push button ones where it is hard to control the temerature, which sucks. Also, the people in our room were really loud!

Liked: Just spent 3 wonderful days at Marabou Hostel in Prague. The fact that it is not not located in the touristy old town (15 minutes by bus) makes it even better value, because that way you also get to know the 'real' Prague. Zizkov is known as Prague's livliest quarter with lots of pubs. bars and scruffy and cosy places to have a beer or two...far off the tourist track. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. Although the hostel was not very busy (due to off season) the last couple of days one can imagine what it must be like in high season when the massive chill-out area full of leather sofas and comfy cushions is bustled about by lots of travellers. Breakfast was great, rooms tidy and the atmosphere very chilled out and relaxed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED INDEED!

Liked: The hostel's staff were reaaly friendly. The breakfast was not perfect but good. There were some kind of cheese and chocolate to spread on the bread, honey, jam, coffee, tea. and you can use all equipments in the kitchen. there are pinball and pool table. you can drink your welcome beer. you can meet with your new friend. i prefer you the hostel if you think about to stay in prag. but from the hostel to main train station is about 45 minutes by walking.
