Liked: I like a lot about this property, it was very central to the city, safe, clean with fantastic members of staff, particularly Patrik who without him me and my friends would have been very short on knowledge of where to visit, eat, and so much more.

Disliked: Not a lot, I guess the curtains could have been a little thicker.

Liked: Great location, and very friendly staff! You get a free sandwich at breakfast which means I saved a lot of money not buying an extra meal! You get a locker free with each bed, which means it's very secure. Really good hostel, very much recommended.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Great location, just a short 10 minute walk from the train station, and maybe 5 minutes to the Old Town Square and other sights. It's on a relatively quiet side street so sleeping at night is not an issue. Beds were comfortable (and linens are included!), and facilities were clean. The staff were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and with general orientation in the city. Breakfast was pretty basic, just a sandwich, some cereal and coffee and juice.

Disliked: Nothing major. Would have liked some shelf space in the bathroom to put clothes and toiletries.

Liked: It's close to the center, nicely decorated, clean and cheap hostel for its value.

Disliked: I had to change rooms every other night, that was pretty annoying, to move my stuff all the time. Furthermore a great hostel!

Liked: Lovely large rooms, easy walk to the old town square, plenty of other like-minded travelers looking to have a bit of fun.

Disliked: We had to change rooms after our first night and were put in an 8 bed dorm despite booking a 6 bed. This involved checking out and leaving the hostel for two hours which was a bit of a bummer.

Liked: The guy who checked us in was extremely helpful and even took time to teach us Czech words. Everything was very clean and wifi was free! The location is great, it only takes a few minutes to get to Old Town Square and all of the night life! In the morning, we got sandwiches that we took with us for lunch, and we had a really good breakfast with cereal, juice, milk, and tea. Best hostel I've stayed at!

Disliked: There were 8 lockers in the 8 person dorm we stayed in, but they only gave us a key for one (I was traveling with 2 other people). That was weird.

Liked: Fantastic staff. Always friendly, happy and willing to help with everything. Very knowledgable also. We had a complaint after being kept awake from 2-6am by laughing/vomitting girls, but the lady on reception was incredibly attentive and helpful and did everything in her powers to make up for it. Good range of tourist information and advice and discount vouchers. Generally friendly fellow guests (the above were the only exception). Spotlessly clean and good quality towels and linen (included in price). There seemed to be cleaners working solidly from 8am-8pm. Awesome free sandwiches too. <3 gherkins <3

Disliked: Some of the rooms are connecting rooms which isn't advertised. We were unlucky on the first night with incredibly obnoxious and rude neighbours, but after they left we had no problems. The showers are a slightly communal affair, but you still have plenty of privacy.

Liked: As a first time user of a hostel I was impressed by the cleanliness of Old Prague Hostel. The staff, Kamila and Matt were specially helpful, friendly and kind all: old and young, I felt safe and comfortable.

Disliked: All good things, nothing negative

Liked: Loved everything, location, room was nice, bathrooms nice, breakfast was really good and included a free bread roll. Good wifi, DVD rooms with lots to choose from.

Liked: Its near to the metro station and the main bus station. Staff are friendly, the rooms, dining area and toilet are super clean. Love the decorations there.

Disliked: Should accept credit card or in Euros.

Liked: - right in the centre (a mere 5 minutes walk to historical buildings, night clubs, nice bars etc.)

Disliked: We've actually booked a 5 bedded dorm for two nights, but there was a "problem with the reservation" (that's what we were told at least). According to their information we had booked a night in the 8bedded dorm - as if! As they were fully booked, we had no chance of getting what we actually wanted. However, as a compromise we finally got a private room for the second night (even ensuite). But you really have to insist and put some pressure on them. So if it happens to you (and according to the reviews here it does happen more often), don't just accept their first offer!!
