Although it wasn't close to town it was close to the metro. Also Martin in the bar was a real dude, and so were most of the staff. It just really needs a big spring clean (esp the old filthy matresses)

The price was good, though the breakfast, which we did not purchase, was a little expensive, especially for the area. The bathroom in our room was nice, but the noise at night was not good.

The staff were really friendly and very helpful, they printed off bus timetables for our next journey leg, recommended places to visit and told us the best way to get there.

The staff members were very helpful in solving a few practical matters (finding an internet café with printing facilities for on-line check-in/printing the boarding card for my return flight, helping me to get my mobile phone charged again).
The hostel is at <10 minutes walking distance from Holesovice station, from which the metro to the centre of Prague departs. The exact directions to the hostel were sent to me by the hostel (e-mail) prior to my trip to Prague.
The room and bathroom/toilet were neat and clean (I greatly value that), breakfast was more than sufficient, internet access was provided at low-cost.

great room. small thin mattress but the new remodeling is first class. The map they offer is priceless, the staff couldnt be friendlier.

I thought this hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, you get a free welcome drink, and the private room with bath was very clean and tidy. However, it was SO VERY NOISY all night long--drunks mistakenly trying to get into my room, a couple fighting right outside my door at about 2:30 am, and other assorted revelry, I got almost no sleep the whole night. Although I liked every other aspect of the hotel, I would not stay there again if I expected to get any sleep at all. If you are there to have fun and don't care about sleep, go for it.

Helpful freindly staff made our Scottish group feel very welcome. Lovely atmosphere. Particularly liked the warm setting and layout of the bar. Great breakfast. Very clean conditions. Fully recommend this hostel.

The midnight tradaition of A-Bombs is a must for anyone who stays there. Al the Welsh barternder will tell you all about it and is good for looking after travellers too... Careful at the Sports Bar across the road!
