Liked: the rooms had a good fresh vibe about them and that it was a bit out of town so the food was half the price at restaurants

Disliked: was a little out of town and had to catch the tram about 4-5 stops and the staff were not very helpful or friendly.

Disliked: only 3 computers with no time limit so often had to wait. But it was free so I can't complain too much!

Liked: It wasn't in the middle of the city centre and had very friendly staff, it wasn't too hard to meet people as 3 dorms shared a common room so we met very often and that helped people to meet and talk.

Disliked: It was pretty noisy as the street outside was a main one, but I could deal with that for the few nights stay.

Liked: After four days in Prague, I still hadn't figured the trams out. So I didn't find it very easy to connect into the centrum. Other than that, everything was fine.

Liked: We were in a 6 bed room on a floor with only 2 other rooms and had a kitchen/small common room on our floor which really nice to have. We were able to get to know the other people on our floor quite well and it was great having a kitchen at our disposal. Rooms were clean, every bed had a shelf and light which are small details but quite nice. Lockers in the room and shelves for your stuff help keep the room tidy and clutter free which is nice. Breakfast was good, coffee, bread, jam, cereal, meat and cheese. I would definitely reccomend this place, it was a great stay!

Disliked: It's not directly in the center, but is quite a nice location and especially given the price and quality it's a great deal. Close to the metro station and a doable walk if you choose to walk into the center.

Disliked: Not in the city center... but not too far, at least. Can´t go on internet and the terrace after 10PM and just 1 toilet/shower on the floor!

Liked: location not the best but awesome free brekkie, clean rooms, great price, good showers - it is only a short metro ride to the main city afterall so it was great!

Liked: The price of the hostel is pretty good for all that's included; free internet, free breakfast, and so forth. Also, the rooms (or ensuites) are really nice.

Disliked: There isn't really a common area to meet people besides the people in your dorm. Also, the location isn't the greatest. It's situated about 15 to 20 minutes by transport from the downtown but it was a big deal. The public transportation system in Prague is quite good. So you won't have any problems getting anywhere.

Liked: I liked the rooms they were very spacious and they have very good kitchen.

Disliked: I have to clime stairs every time to go for breakfast and also watch TV. The noise from the cars on the street was very disturbing and we could not close the windows to keep the noise out because it was very hot and no cooling system was available.

Liked: Lovely staff, we loved our room. Bright walls, sense of community, if you want to get to know other travellers they seemed friendly. Simple but good breakfast, the washroom and toilet were cleaned every day. The location is fine - Smichov is a great place to stay as it's cheaper, less touristy, and there are some fantastic places to go eat on this side of the river. We went to Andel and ate at Lukalu (en route on tram) and if you go to Prague Castle or Hradcany, the highlight of our trip to Prague was Malý Buddha Restaurant... vv. cheap, atmospheric and delicious!! Transport excellent doesn't take long to get to centre at all. Stay at Arpacay.

Disliked: Noisy road with the windows open, not good if you don't like stairs... but these are minor things which didn't ruin our stay

Liked: The rooms are fantastic. Really good size rooms with fresh and bright colours. Made it a pleasure to stay. The bathroom was always clean and available even though there were two rooms sharing one bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and filling.

Disliked: Not much actually. Even though it's quite a distance from the action, it's just a quick tram ride or two and you're there. Think the directions to the hostel could be better though. In fact, people should just take the tram from the main train station straight to the hostel instead of using the metro. Not a good first impression to make. Other than that, everything was great.

Liked: The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable.

Disliked: The bathroom left some things to be desired. Also a good bit of a distance from downtown Prague, although there was a metro stop nearby.

Liked: Helpful and friendly staff. Good sized room (triple). Decent breakfast.

Disliked: The location was a bit further than we would have liked and not in the best area.

Liked: The manager and staff were most helpful. They were very accomodating and helpful. We left behind a mobile phone and Anna was very helpful that we were able to get it back.

Disliked: Out of the 3 days we stayed, we didn't have hot water for 2 days because the place was being renovated. It was too cold to have a decent shower.

Liked: Nice large room (took a private double). The rooftop lounge has a great view and is fantastic for hanging out. The staff were accomodating and helpful; almost overtly so even.

Disliked: The location is a bit out of the way. Budget 20 mins for the travel to town. The nearest metro is nearby but involves many flights of steps so beware if you're lugging a heavy load.

Liked: The staff was friendly and accomadating. I had to check in very late and they made sure to work it out for me by having someone wait for me with my keys. 24 hours access was also nice. Not too easy to meet people but overall a good place.
