Liked: clean, spacious rooms. staff were super helpful - some of the best ive encountered in my travels

Disliked: too large a place for my tastes...not very good for meeting people since there are often large groups and people are forced to socialize

Liked: The young Quebecois guys who run it are really helpful and fun. Great location and cool building by a lot of good restaurants and cafes and close to the tram to go to the Old Town area. Fairly clean, spacious rooms, and quite safe.

Disliked: Nothing. It's a new hostel, and I wish the guys the best of luck with it.

Liked: I enjoyed my stay at the hostel because of the super friendly staff. I arrived late in the evening and the amazing Alana made me feel very welcomed, the check in process was swift and super efficient, and she told me about all the facilities and gave me loads of local info etc, plus she was always there to help out if I had any questions. The hostel itself is an easy 10 - 15 minutes walk from the bus depot. Has the usual facilities; kitchen for self caterers, a comfortable common room, clean rooms, free lockers (bring your own padlock), free WiFi and 8 free computer for those without a laptop. The hostel deserves my 100% rating, especially for the customer service element.

Disliked: A little noisy throughout the night with people returning from bars and chatting loudly on the stairs.... bring ear plugs if staying on the weekend.

Liked: Wifi and kitchen facilities were good. The rooms were a decent size for the number of beds.

Disliked: You have to wear arm bands while being inside the hostel.

Liked: Gorgeous hostel! Loved the artwork and everything about this place, the staff and the people made our time in Prague something worth remembering, going to miss it more than anything, props to Alana, Kraig, Ben and Lucy for being the most kickass party crew to hit the Czech Republic, a must stop for any traveller!

Disliked: Not a thing bad could be said about Hostel One, go on and have a time!

Liked: Great staff, nice rooms, good kitchen (open 24hrs), excellent patio area outside, nice lounge and separate internet area (wifi and internet free), fun bar in the basement, lots of scheduled activities. Place was a former apartment building, most if not all rooms have ensuite facilities and roomier than most. Well stocked with information about local attractions, transportation schedules and how to use. The list goes on. Certainly one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Highly recommended.

Disliked: Not much, everything met or exceeded my expectations.

Liked: The location is pretty good, just a tram stop from the mail railway station. The staff is pretty friendly and there're lots of movies to choose from to spend the night. Parties and other excusions are also organized.

Disliked: The equipments and facilities inside the private suite are not sufficient, e.g. Kitchen without any utensils/cooking tools... No wardrobe to hang clothes...

Liked: The hostel is located about 15 min walk from the main tourist area in a nice area with lots of cafes and reataurants. This was nice, to avoid the huge crowds near the old sq. The dorm was very big with balcony and two bathrooms, very nice! Good value for money. Very big well equipped kitchen!

Disliked: the common room is a bit to small.

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were fairly large, and had some separation between the sleeping area and ensuite shower, which is always good. Good sized guest kitchen with lot's of cooking utensils and space.

Disliked: The hotplates in the kitchen weren't great.

Liked: Large kitchen which is great for self caterers. Computers for this travelers that do not have laptops and friendly and active staff who are always there to engage you in the different activities that occur on a mighty basis.

Liked: This was a really great property; of the eight we stayed in, definitely my favourite. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, with a couple of nice communal spaces. The locations was decent; a 15 minute downhill walk into the centre of Prague, very close to a tram stop if you're not feeling up to it. The best thing about this hostel was probably the staff, who were always available to dispense good advice. On our first night we were giving a map of the local area with restaurants highlighted, and I urge you to visit all of them because the food was amazing and very well-priced. Free internet is also provided.

Disliked: The only negative aspect of our stay (aside from our roommates) was that, on our third day, we found a bunch of ants in the kitchenette in our room. This was caused by our roommates leaving a load of food out overnight before they checked out. However, when we told the staff they immediately moved the three of us to another room, and didn't book anyone else into the new room for the duration of our stay, which was great. So really, no complaints.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and they organized outings almost every night. The bar in the basement was great...cheap beer and good times! The dorm (7 bed female) had its own bathroom, table and chairs, was spacious and very clean. The common lounge\tv room was nice, the kitchen was well stocked (plates, utensils, pots, pans, spices, coffee, tea, oil, etc}, and very new and clean. Plus, there was lots of fridge space which was really nice too. The hostel wasnt too big so it was easy to meet other travellers and there were also lots of computers with free internet which was super convenient!

Disliked: It was 2 or 3 stops to the city centre by tramway, which only takes about 5 minutes...or 15 minutes by foot. While not right in the centre, it was in a safe neighborhood and not too far at all!

Liked: Located just outside of old town, cheaper eats near by and hostel had everything you needed and more.

Disliked: a bit of a walk from the center of it all but its no problem

Disliked: The location is not so good. You have to walk about 1 km if you don't take the tram. The door in bathrook can't lock.

Liked: the bar downstairs was fun and the staff member , Craig, took us to a hockey game which is great of him

Disliked: the staff always pressured you to go drink in the bar and they made me move rooms on my 2nd night out of 4 because the messed up a booking (I understand that mistakes happen but i wanted to say that I did not enjoy my 2nd 2 nights because of the people I got put with - but thats nothing to do with the hostel)
