Liked: Good location. Double room for two people was really big and decorated with nice "Miro" paintings. Really money worthy price!

Disliked: Reception is only open fron 10-18:00

Liked: Great deal in Prague for a very secure hostel in a great location. Staff waited for us to arrive from a later flight and explained everything about our room -- even complimented our Czech! Would recommend anytime, a great hostel!

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you, hostel felt secure even though when you approach it the backstreet seems a bit dodgy. Got a whole kitchen with table and chairs and microwave!

Disliked: Wasn't 100% clean, and the toilet had a masserator on the back which made a crazy noise every so often. But good value.

Liked: Good location, close to public transport, helpful staff, large room and ensuite, room as described. Despite our 'dislikes', the overall experience was positive, and we would recommend.

Disliked: Linen wasn't changed, and room wasn't cleaned during our 6day stay. The reception isn't open 24 hours. If you want to store your bags on check-out for the day, you have to keep in mind it doesn't open until 9 am. There were also some issues with noisy neighbours which were difficult to resolve without anyone available at reception.

Liked: Rates were very reasonable, and room size was excellent. Secure keycard access to building.

Disliked: Hot water didn't work. Pillows were lumpy. Wasn't very clean.

Liked: Everything about this hostel is great. I will stay at Lion Prague Hostel at everytime I go to Prague. Perfect location, very good staff and very near the underground station. I didn´t need to use public transportation at any time, and I visited the entire city by walk. Very good price and I recommend to backpakers or couples at journeys. I was with my girl and everything was perfect.

Disliked: Nothing. 100% recommended.

Liked: The staff was really friendly - we showed up really early and there was no problem for us to check in way before the official check-in time. We got a free city map (two, in fact) and the staff was more than happy to give us tips on what to see, where to shop and so on. We also liked the location of the hostel - it is not located in the strict center of Prague, but is close enough so that a walk to Charles Bridge takes maybe 10 minutes top.

Disliked: This is a pretty minor thing, but the bed sheets in our room were really thin and it got pretty cold during night-time.

Liked: Good location for getting to all parts of city - trams , buses, metro and by foot. Perfect base for an independent traveller wanting to see the city sights and not wishing the "backpack" party mentality, or common room social side. Good sleep possible and hot water at any time of day.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Clean, nice, safe, spacious, peaceful area.

Disliked: There was a road piling work every morning at 7+, it was very noisy and woke us up. Because of this, we couldn't get enough sleep unless we sleep early. The curtain is not fully covered the windows, one could not manage to cover the whole windows.

Liked: The room was massive, with pleanty of storage. The fridge in the room was also very useful. I would say the best thig about this hostel was the lovely, helpful staff. Although one of the only good things to be honest!

Disliked: Me and my boyfriend visited as part of a backpacking trip across Europe. This was definitely the worst, and dirtyest hostel we stayed in. The room was OK, but unfortunately the bathroom was disgusting. The toilet leaked toilet water all over the floor, there was dirt everywhere as though it had not been cleaned in weeks. There was a sign saying not to run the tap as it made the room below flood! There were alot of complaints from other guests, so I guess all the floors were of a similar standard. An other massive issue was the location is currently 2 metres away from a building site, we were woken at 7.30 in the morning all 3 days we were there by drilling and shouting. In addition there is a hostel across the road and the general area is loud throughout the night, therefore sleep was minimal! (not the hostels fault but something to be aware of) The location is OK, however by no means in the centre, I think this is because Prague is quite small, so walking isnt a problem.

Liked: Location is great. Metro station, tram station and super market are nearby.

Disliked: There was a construction site right in front of the hostel so it was very noisy in the morning.

Liked: Very well priced, room was HUGE (more like an apartment than a hostel room), staff were helpful and prepared room early for us!

Disliked: Not much atmosphere, no bar etc.

Liked: Get what you pay for, in a central part of prague easy walking distance to the sights and bars etc. Laundry service on offer a stones throw away, 200 koruna a basket. Free wifi with excellent reception, also a hostel computer which is very useful. Would definately recommend!

Disliked: Minor- but the signing was fairly difficult to see however it was dark and raining when I got in. But could be inproved to a big more inviting sign.

Liked: Spacious rooms. Cheap price. Staff are trying hard. They have tried to design a good hotel. Location is fine but not near old town area.

Disliked: Limited opeing times, poor plumbing (leaks and blockages), new fixtures beginning to break, very noisy at night you can hear all other guests moving around. Local drunks try to get into lower and basement rooms. Poor quality bedding supplied.

Liked: Excellent location, very short walk to centre of Prague. Fob entry made property feel secure as main door was always locked, also option to lock door to the floor (though obviously other people staying on the floor have keys and may not always lock it). Bathroom only shared on floor (1 private double room and a dorm). Helpful chap working there, boiler flooded during our stay, but was dealt with efficiently (even though it was late at night).

Disliked: Nothing really, it was good for a hostel.

Liked: we arrived in the morning and booked on the same day, a twin bedroom. what we got was a clean, spacious apartment with a fully equipped livingroom/kitchen and a big room with four comfy beds and sliding doors to the kitchen. Miró-Prints on the Walls. It felt super-homey, was very quiet and bright. shared bathroom with one or 2 other rooms (we didn't see anyone) + microwave + kettle + 10min walk to"MUSEUM", 10 to the river + comfy beds + elevator + hot and proper shower

Disliked: > the "free internet" computer is superold and slow. but it works! > the receptionist can be a bit strange, but is generally very helpful.

Liked: The location of the hostel is really good . It is next to the old town of Prague .So you can go by walk everywhere in few minutes We stayed trible room ensuite .And our room, bed sheets and bathroom are so clean

Disliked: When we arrived the hostel although it is one o clock the reception is closed so we had to ring the bell for five minutes and we waited in front of the hostel with our luggage .After somebody opened the door we could enter the inside the hostel is really strange it is dark and there was nobody in it .I don't like it .I think this hostel isn' good enough to be one of the best hostels in prague and it is too much expensive

Liked: The guy at the reception desk(I forgot his name) was very helpful and friendly. The location of the hostel was good. You dont need to use any public transportation at all to reach the historical places. Our room was big and clean.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: we booked the private room for 3 people, it was nice, clean, we also had a kitchen. The bathroom was shared between 2 rooms, it was clean. Everything was OK, the staff - Miroslav was very kind and helpful. the hostel is within walking distance from the city center and the sights, it is very close to the metro station and a tram station. We were very satisfied and will surely come back to this hostel if we will be again in Prague.
