The homey atmosphere and the opportunity to meet people. Peaceful and quiet place for a long term period as well as relaxing, not to say the delicious breakfast as well..

the friendliness of the hostel staff was a huge plus. the night i stayed in the boat house was my first night of my stay in Prague so it helped enourmesly that the reception staff sdviced me where to go and even gave me a free map!

Peaceful, clean, home-like. Huge breakfast, not at all short from a hotel in that respect.

We were looking for a nice quiet place (not a party house), and this was it! It was wonderful, the women who run the hostel are so giving and kind, and the breakfasts and dinners were top-notch. The benefits of the place far outweigh the distance you have to travel to get there. If you want to party hard, this probably isn't the place, but if you want to meet great people and have a relaxing time, stay here!!

I really liked the ability to pay for a breakfast meal besides what was given, the french toast was particularly good, especially with the cinammon and sugar topping. Also all of the hostel hosts were very nice.

we searched for an hour to find the hostel. it would be eaier to say that it was near the golfcourse.

Although the hostel is some distance from the city, its worth it for the riverside location. Everyone was very friendly and the ice cream on sale was great.

The Staff were really helpful, and it is in a unique location next to the river even though it was a bit out of town.

Big Breakfast!!!! no busy city around you, so much promotion flyers and maps, helpfull personel.
Tip: make a corner with big chair, couch and more books, magazines and cosy lights. A corner to chill out and slow down, for the 'older people'.

It was like home away from home with a family run feeling and constant attention to the human side of backpacking. The location next to the river was also a great place to just take a break.

Everything was great... the food was delicious (home cooked meals) the people were super friendly (they will do anything for you practically) and extermely laid back... we also met a ton of great people as well... I only had two small complaints: mens showers are not individual showers (you have to shower with up to 6 other guys...) and the rooms are on the upper level and therefore in the summer it is extremely hot... but these things are really inconsequential compared to all the great things about this hopstel... if I make it back here I would definitely stay here again!

cheap beer, great people, friendly staff, a little out of the way but easily reached by tram - and the location on the river is so worth it!
