Liked: Miss Sophie's was a lovely place to stay. It is super clean and modern with great facilities. The lounge area was very comfy and the kitchen well equipped. The staff were excellent with providing suggestions of where to go and see, where to eat and drink and general information also.

Disliked: The only thing I'd mention is that it's not the typical hostel where you would meet other travellers as there wasn't really a communal place where people congregated.

Liked: This was by far the BEST hostel/boutique hotel I have stayed in. Being an international flight attendant, I have travelled all over the world... for work and leisure. We rented out the group apartment which had 4 beds and could sleep up to 5. This only cost us 65 pounds or so per person for 4 nights! There were 4 of us. The rooms were amazing, came with bathroom, dining table, kitchen... and even two chandiliers! Was very modern. Great location! The breakfast offered was only 5-6 pounds and you pretty much had your own French chef. The food was amazing! We opted for the omelette's and canapes! Which is unlimited..... Also has fresh juice, coffee/tea, toast, meats, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, cakes, muffins ... and all sorts! Definitely recommend the omelette! Overall a great experience and i higlyt recommend this to ANYONE!

Liked: The room with ensuite was very nice, modern and clean. The hostel was reasonably positioned within the city and close to the underground. We had a very enjoyable stay. After having stayed in other hostels in the area previously, I highly recommend Miss Sophie's.

Disliked: I did not dislike anything about my stay at Miss Sophie's.

Liked: It fit our needs perfectly for our brief stay in Prague. Close to the center of the action, close to the metro so that we could access our train back to Germany. Ita was a fabulous help-provided stamps to mail postcards back to the States, provided the metro tickets, directions to get to the metro, a wonderful suggestion for a dinner place and great place for breakfast! We loved Edgar and the wonderful food he prepared but we didn't book in time, and had to leave the hostel to get some breakfast-we wouldn't let that happen again if we have the opportunity to return in the future! The rrom was neat, clean and tidy! I liked the huge bathroom and that even though the building itself was old and full of history-which was wonderful! I liked all of the updates in the room and bathroom! We would definitely return to Miss Sophie's and tell others about this hostel as well! Hope that you continue to have LOTS of travellers coming to Miss Sophie's! Thank you! John and Suellen Scott

Liked: Only just starting out on the hostel road at the tender age of 27 :), I was a bit hesitant when it comes to telling people my age! Lucky for me I have big checks and often get mistaken for being 20! Miss Sophies's was the first place where I didn't feel so out of my comfort zone. However I wouldn't stay here if I was lookong for parties, booze, danger and like minded people to share that with. But if your travelling to see the sights and "cultural" stuff of a city I would 100% stay here. Its quiet, never have I seen a hostel sooooo clean, the breakfast, which is an extra cost, was so big I didn't have to buy lunch and the staff happily answered the 101 obsessive compulsive questions I had!!!! It is so close to a metro that can take you to the centre in 10 mins but I also walked this a many of times and it took no more then 20mins with the usual photo stops in between. The biggest plus was the fast, free wifi, that worked not only in reception, but in my dorm room and while I was sitting next door eating a burrito!

Disliked: 2 billion percent nothing!!!!!!! I adored it!!!!!!!!

Liked: I liked the nice room with plenty of space, personal locker under the bed, free wifi and nice shower room. The staffs were also helpful. It was a pleasant stay at Miss Sophies.

Disliked: Sometimes restroom was too busy and full. 8 people using one restroom was not enough...

Liked: I paid about £3 per night for a bed in a 5-bed-dorm room here on some super crazy deal in Hostelbookers. I wasn't sure if it was really gonna be that cheap so I was prepared for 2 senario: a) I had to pay the full price of around £16 (which is still very cheap compared for what you'll get); or b) a very shitty room. Well, it was neither. My room is very clean and comfortable with good pillow. Very clean and well decorated. There is a door between the actually bedroom and the bathroom. This means that you won't be bothered at night. They also provide a hairdryer in the bathroom. Miss Sophie's really pays attention to every little detail. The staffs are very polite and helpful. The location is between 2 metro lines and severals tram lines. It's a short walk to the tram stop and one of the two metro stations. The other one is about 5 blocks away which isn't that far unless walking isn't your thing.

Liked: I felt very warm welcome when i arrived. Staff was very helpful. The food from chef was nice. The toilet was big and clean. The room was very big, not too crowded for 5 people. I really liked it! Definitely stay here if i come back.

Disliked: i felt i was fool with another 2 staffs- a bit annoying, not like the first 2 i met when i arrived, they were very helpful. Probably a long day. The rest was very good!!!

Liked: It felt like a boutique hotel, but for the price of a hostel. It was beautifully decorated, staff were really friendly and helpful - even recommending films for us to watch in the tv room, and the shower was amazing!

Liked: The rooms are clean and the beds are excellent. The toilet and the showers are very modern and 5 star ratings. It is abit far from where all the action is but it is about 20 minutes walk. But over all it is an excellent hostel. The staff offered me a free breakfast while i was waiting for my airport shuttle. The airport taxi was late 45 minutes this is why i had been offered a free breakfast. Iy was not the hostel fault. Because of good treatment to me and good service i gave a 500 cz krome tip to the staff

Disliked: The bed, the toilet and the cleanlimess and the free wifi

Liked: Breakfast (that you had to pay for) was amazing! Rooms were big 5 bed dorms didn't have bunkbeds which was nice! Design was sleek and modern.

Disliked: BEWARE: We were both bitten by bed bugs at this hostel. We informed the receptionist who reported to the manager, who approached us to talk about it. He made out that it was my fault for getting bitten as I am backbacking and tried to blame the previous hostel. However, we had no bites until we stayed here. We were told I could move to another bed in the room which didn't end up being provided, as the bed was left un changed for two days. Also, we were quoted the wrong price and ended up paying more that agreed. Another problem was the cleanliness of the rooms, beds left un-cleaned and the bathrooms were a state, there was faeces and urine everywhere.(SHOWER IN FLIPFLOPS) So although this hostel looks nice and boutique like, it does not offer the kind of service you would expect paying their prices. We would not come back here again or recommend it.

Liked: How hostelling has changed in the past 30 years. Sophies comes with its own French chef doing gourmet breakfast offerings for just 7euro. Great staff. Not a traditional hostel with communal lounge and kitchen, but each apartment/dorm has a kitchen, albeit small. Everything you need. Cosy. Very clean hostel. Gr8 hostel if you want a quiet chilled out space, with easy walking access to everything. Sophies is simply phanphuquingtastic.

Disliked: Nothing really, although a future consideration might be to provide recycling facilities, and then encourage recycling practices. After all. it is the 21st century, and we all want to live in a sustainable and ecologically mindfull space. Don't we?. . . don't we?

Liked: Friendly staff and quiet place. Great design and air conditioning for the 2 bunk beds bedroom, unexpected for 21€ per night. Though, you have to be aware that this place is not a hostel but a hotel. Don't expect the same atmosphere then.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile to help you out. The dorm I stayed in was clean and well equipped, with a very nice bathroom that wouldn't look out of place in a new apartment.

Disliked: It was pretty hot at night on the top bunk. The room had an air conditioning unit but it didn't appear to be working.
