it took me a bit to warm up to this place- the staff was initially a little rude- but by the end of my stay (only one night) i loved it! good location, friendly and helpful, all the things you need in a hostel.

The staff rocks. The location, you can't get better and the atmosphere was quite comfortable to boot. It's practically connected to u sudu, one of my favorite czech bars and has a great courtyard area to hang out and meet new people....Oh and don't forget the lizards, hedgehog and baby ducky!

The hostel had a really nice atmosphere, good acommodation and helpful staff. Not so good for self catering and getting the free breakfast that was promised in check in seemed to depend on what staff member was on duty!

Location, friendliness
One think I did not like is that the receiption is not always open. I had to wait for 30minutes two times to check in!!!!!

Great place for meeting people. There was an amazing bar there that was huge with strong, cheap drinks. Rooms were clean, showers were good but bathroom wasn't cleaned the three nights we were there. Good location. Would definitely recommend it especially if you want to meet people.

Rooms by the road were very noisy. House keeping wasn't done the day we arrived. Mattresses and linen are threadbare. Attracts English stag party type groups. There could be nicer rooms as it is a big place but we didn't see any.

This was the best hostel I have ever stayed. The atmosphere of the place close to the historical center, a great bar called "U Sudu" next door with it's underground rooms. But the best of all is the welcome of the nice and friendly Czech staff. Best backpacking place I have been: Golden Sickle Hostel in Pracue, don't miss it!
